Vessel and Jones Bag Longevity & customer service

Deciding between the two brands - more specifically the players 2.0 stand vs the utility trouper. For those that own either, how have they stood up to wear and tear?

Both bags have what I want (minus the straps on jones, but I can purchase better straps), but I'm just trying to make the final decision based off of bag quality and customer service. I have no problem forking over the extra money on a vessel if I will see returns in how long the bag lasts.

I can't speak to Vessel but Jones bags are very well made and the one time I had to deal with their customer service, they were excellent.

In for vessel responses. You hardly see them for sale and used soooo they must be liked?

Both have stellar customer service.

I can’t say that one is better than the other but they will both go above and beyond because they have a true appreciation of the customer.

I would recommend the Jones.

I have had both and don’t think you can go wrong either way. I had the vessel cobra bag and it was a great bag. Much bigger than the utility trouper I picked up for this season. Form, function, and durability have been fine with both walking or riding on a cart. Only switched to the jones this year as I was looking for something a bit smaller than the vessel bag for the daily rounds. I did sell the vessel bag but not due to any flaws with the bag. I also never experienced any of the issues people have spoke about in the warning thread for the vessel bags.

 I am a walker and have 3 Jones bags- They are terrific

   Only feature I wish the non stand bag had was a standup strap like my Ping moonlight

How would you compare the straps on the moonlite and jones?

The big thing is the Ping bag strap stand up so less bending

   The Jones is a sturdier more spacious bag

      Both have good padding
