Back when I did the cars I am buying you band mates if I win the lotto deal  I selected a Blue AMG convert MB for myself. This was an E class and not the S I would take, but still it was a fine ride.  It had a bad *ss licence plate. I pulled into the spot next to it. Good first golf vibe of the day.

Completely Sunny with 80 degrees for the high temp.  Some wind 10-20 mph. 

On the 1st tee it's the fellas, Erik, Karl, and Mike. We are making wagers. I had a solid warm up session. Game on.

Naw,  it was openly wafting into the upstate Lindsayland air every 4 holes. 

 

Plus I consume a protein bar, turkey sandwich, a Kit Kat, and plentiful coconut water while playing. I take my performance seriously, and this almost 60 year old man needs some fuel he can count on to play his best. Oh and sunblock reapplied 3 times today as thankfully the sun is warm and powerful again. 

 

I can faintly hear coming from quite a distance off. It's Montana far off I think.  It's something like, what not a single damn beer? , what a P*ssy. The other 3 drink enough beer for the foursome P3P.

I shot an 80. Two birdies. Great driving of the ball all day. Thank heavens that showed back up. I really hit fine shots tee to green. It was the touch shots around the green and the putting that were off. Such an awesome afternoon with the fellas though. So on the week that was 5 birdies in two rounds for me. Decent scores in my normal range as well. Spring sunny weather with temps around 80* degrees for both rounds.

The savvy vacationer brings a few rolls of Charmin Ultra Soft Premium in his/her luggage. I suggest one brings a bar of their favorite soap and shampoo as well. Nobody wants itchy skin and/or scalp on their vacation. This long time hospitality industry veteran has more suggestions if needed.

 

Do they have avocado toast on the morning menu to offset your dissatisfaction with the paper products?

One more thing from my trip down to Landrum yesterday. Remember the 9 tiny houses I bought for our golf weekend's in the Upstate of SC? We have Saturday night covered with our 2 live bands Keg Rager at the Gowensville Community Center. We still needed an activity for Friday night the day we all arrive. It's now covered gents. Leaving the golf course I stopped in and talked with Edith and Murray. Such a sweet couple those two. Well Edith said I sure seemed like a nice man and that they would be happy to hold a special session just for the Pick's Monsters. They will provide the hymnals and Bibles. I did a great East Coast hustler job on them though and kind of feel bad for doing it.

I got them to throw in the sweet tea and Little Debbie's free of charge.
