I too am getting crushed at work. Add to an already busy day tomorrow with the season opener foursome tournament with 120 something participants, it's the pool and it's restaurant's reopening day as well. Oh well why not throw in a wedding for 100 at 4pm. Tabulations will be slow in coming this week as I'll need extra time. 

I have a great Charlie Hoffman story that I will get around to sharing with you. It is about his final round in (at that time called) The Chrysler/Bob Hope  Desert Classic. It was this year that round 4 was not played on a PGA West course. Something different they were thinking. It was one and done. Nope that year it was played on a track I played multiple times a month. The Classic Club. I loved the place and miss it tons. It was in the rotation of the weekly Men's League I played in. This was back when I was living in Palm Desert and went to a few rounds when the Tour came to town. Remember the blonde one that rode JD story. Yeah? but different year. I can tell ya this cool tidbit about Used to Mullet Charlie though. See one Tour stop 2 years back chef was working the Houston event. About 6 homes in a row were rented for the week by players. Chef told me that next door Hoffman was staying. See Hoffman is known for having the best parties. He gets the Traeger grill company to bring in their pro staff with the fine cooking units and set his surfer butt up at the home he is renting. He also gets a local beer distributor bring the beer. Parker was heading next door to Charlie's gig as he said they are known to be a great time.

Charlie be grilling steaks and drinking some fresh cold drafts with the fellas on TOUR.

Just a true So Cal surfer dude brah.

My goodness I did possibly 75 weddings all over the D.C. area during the 15 years I was there. They are a tremendous amount of work but I do enjoy seeing it all come together. I am grateful as our first wedding at my workplace since covid took place today. I thought the finished product looked tastefully done with elegant simplicity. It was kicking off, I was heading out.

Old commish is busting tail this week in large fashion. Oh and checked on my tree yesterday so I could share a new pic with you fellas. It wasl looking majestically fine.

No one cares, but I went to Touch's homeland and without the frosted hair, no one even seemed to notice me.  It was disappointing, but as I watched people trundle through the casino I was reminded how amazingly diverse the American population is, and perhaps the world, if the languages I heard passing by were to be involved.

Playing three courses that were new to me, I posted an 81, 82, and 84.  Oddly enough, I enjoyed the 84 course the most and felt as though I was hitting the ball the best even though the scores were the worst.  I did have the dubious distinction of the snorkel, which is a par with a water ball.  It occurred on a par 5 and it, of course, involved a 7H over the aforementioned pond from about 165 yards.

We stayed on the Strip, which for me isn't the place to be.  The lowest table was $15 and the blackjack tables generally attract individuals who struggle counting to 21, and they certainly have less knowledge about when to hit/hold which already guarantees a losing proposition to happen that much faster.  Then factor in the 8 deck shoe, and the whole thing is a mess.  But it was fun as we hit some of the "nicer" courses in the Vegas area.

My handicap went up, but only .1 strokes, and it is good to be home.

I did eat some fancy meals which led to the previous post about hotel toilet paper.

Commish's hair like a bad police road block... couple spikes in the front and nothing in the back 

Commish got more fake spikes on his head then a S&M "Daddy Jacket" 

Commish naturally becoming a bartender makes sense since he was already use to spiking everything 

 

Congrats on the win, but I think the real winner is all of us always getting to rip on your frosted tips. 😆
