Know why I suck at golf?  Because I don't have the excitement of winning so much as the relief of not losing.  Brett Hull famously responded about his lack of celebration after a goal, I am paraphrasing, "If I don't make a big deal about it, maybe they will let me do it again."  As a wee youngster, I could score goals but took more enjoyment in the perfect assist to a teammate.  I have more "playmaker" patches than "hat trick" patches from my days as a youth hockey player, but scoring and passing meant I always got good time on the powerplay.  The Great One after losing to the Isles in the SC Finals told the story about the Oilers laughing as they were leaving the arena after being dispatched and seeing the Islanders in their locker room just spent.  The message was clear, this is what it takes to win.  This is what a team that gives 100% looks like.  This is what professional teams need when things go sideways, but sadly, the make up of a champion isn't a light switch, its learned and/or intrinsic in the individual.

The WFT is taking on the woeful Panthers.  Can they leave it on the field like the Isles did way back when.  Well, David Foster do you have what it takes to make those around you better?  Can you punch one home when it counts?  What about DJ Moore?  Well, I like the WFT as a whole better than the Panthers.  Give me the WFT and I will give the points.

The Cowboys Miles Austin, what do you have?  Anything?  Can you grind out til the end of the year and help the might Cowboys overcome the suddenly resurgent Philadelphia Eagles?  The Eagles don't even have a guy to compare you to, certainly you can take this bull by the horns and charge.  Oh wait, you play for the Cowboys, give me Philly and take the points.  Hurts is a beast right now.

This leads us to the PGH game.  Wow what a slide.  Let's combine the two hockey legends statements and make it divisible by 19.  Why 19?  Bryan Trottier was one of the most unheralded 19s in the history of sport.  He was a favorite of mine growing up.  He didn't seek contact but he never ran from it.  He could pass, he could shoot, and everyone around him was better for it.  Ask Bossy, or Le Magnifique, he had that je ne sais quoi.  He never was over the top, he did his job, and he gave it his all.  He didn't dance on opposing teams logos, or play up the game, he just played the game.  Juju, be like Bryan, he was only with the Pens for a short time, but he is a legend because of his demeanor.  The Colts don't have a 19 to fall back on either, but I don't think it will matter.  BB is going to continue to throw because we know they can't run (can someone explain how Snell rips of 50 yards on the first drive of the third quarter and they don't keep feeding him the ball to keep the D honest?  Bueller?)  In a walking out of the Ketchup bottle laughing, I am doing it, I am taking the Colts and giving the points.  The Steelers are putrid, #19 needs to be like Bryan, and we begin the long march to one and done in the playoffs.

He saw his true make up. My friends doc and green said give it time. I said crappola to that as I see nothing but problems with Dwayne.  Now look at the stunt the loser pulled.
