Fall Weather Clothing

Has anyone else started to pick up some warmer clothing for the cooler weather around the corner? I have already picked up a down puffer vest and wool cap, plus have some Merino shirts and socks on the way. I know it is a little early, but I like to be prepared for chilly weather.

No new items for me, I picked up enough stuff over the last couple of years to last me a while.

I got a RLX gilet a month or so ago. I picked it up brand new from eBay. I figured that August was a good time to buy and I ended up getting at a £100 less than it was at retail - I was, and am, fairly pleased with myself. Beyond that, I have so much other gear that really has hardly been used that I can’t see myself going for anything else for Autumn and Winter.

Same here.  Supposed to be a little chilly tomorrow morning when I play.  First time in months looking for warmer clothes.  I have plenty.

I have enough 1/4 and 1/2 zips to outfit an army. I noticed that my golf closet is about 65% outerwear. So I guess I either need more polos to balance it out, or I need to get rid of some unused outerwear. LOL

LOL same, outerwear for whatever reason accumulates fast in my closet, zips especially.

For some reason, I tend to love the Footjoy Thermo Long Sleeve polos.   I find them to be warmer than pretty much any other brand.   They generally only come out with 1 o 2 models each year, and you have to be the first to jump all over them because they sell out quickly.    So, I start scanning the FJ site beginning in mid-August each year.  Sure enough, a couple of weeks ago they released the first model and I quickly ordered one.

It is in the sixties, but windy. When the sun was out it was very warm, but when the sun went behind a cloud, the down vest came out. I really like my down vest for golf, as it has neck and back warmth.
