3balls golf legit?

Hi everyone. I apologize if this is in the wrong section, but i was just wondering if 3balls golf was legit. They seem to be so considering the internet website and all. Also, is it possible for someone like 3balls to accidentally sell a fake?

I've bought alot of things from them. Totally legit company. Never recieved anything fake.

They have 119,000 feedback on eBay. They're legit.

It's possible that ANY auction might have a fake. With the amount of trade-ins, anything can happen.

Have had numerous good experiences with them. Their internet business is too important to them to knowingly sell a fake, but accidents can happen.

Three Balls Golf is a great company.

I work part time at Dick's in the golf department and what happens is that they recieve all our trade ins.
We give the customer a credit, and then sell the trade ins to 3 Balls, and they turn around and sell them on ebay and thru their website.

Not only due all trade in's have to be inspected by 3 Balls, but our head pro also inspects every club that we accept.
We have so many guides and pictures that we use to make sure that clubs are legit that its not even funny.

We check every serial number, as well as compare with pictures that the OEM reps give us.


It would be nearly impossible to get a fake club from 3 Balls.

If you're buying clubs from them off Ebay beware of their club ratings. Even if a club is rated 4 you could get a club with scrapes, skys, and scratches all over the club. They screwed me over twice and never admitted their ratings were off.

Despite their poor rating system they sell legitimate clubs. I'm sure, like others have mentioned, that they sell some fakes without ever knowing it.

Sometimes their club rankings are different than what I would classify as slightly used/mint. But they've always delivered quickly, and have been great with communication. And the few clubs, I've picked up, have been legit.
I'd recommend.

Turns out that actually READING the auctions help in the condition ratings. Don't just assume a '4' is mint because you think so.

Bought an iron set and individual clubs froms them. Very satisfied. They also let you combine items for shipping and give you a minimum of 7 days (more if you email amd ask)to bid on other items to combine for shipping.

I've bought a couple clubs from 3balls off ebay. One club was descrived as used but in good condition. When it came and I opened it, there was still plastic on the head and grip. It was new and flawless. The other club I got from them was used, but in better shape than the rating stated. I'd definetly buy from them again.

Yeah, you can [b]READ[/b] all you want but you still don't know what you're gonna get. Ratings are subjective and open to interpretation. Turns out a 4 could be a 2.5. All the ratings are BS.

(X460 rated a "4". [i]Shows general wear associated with [b]normal [/b]use over the course of a season or more but has been well cared for. Does not retain any of the "new look" but is in [b]better than average condition[/b]. There is absolutely [b]no sign of abuse[/b]. Cosmetic imperfections are typically visible. Examples include: scuffing, scratching, tiny paint blemishes, shallow dings/nicking, and normal shaft wear. Unless otherwise noted, there are absolutely NO pop-up marks in the crown of any woods[/i]. Looks like a "2" to me)

But still, answering the original poster's question, they are legit. Just be cautious.

Clear, Detailed pictures and accurate descriptions are the best way to go when buying used clubs.

These guys are top notch. One of the best sellers on Ebay. I would suggest if you do not want to get into a bidding war on Ebay that you check at [url="http://www.3ballsgolf.com"]www.3ballsgolf.com[/url] first.

Their inventory is constantly changing daily. All clubs are listed here first before they are offered on Ebay. Note in many cases I have seen items listed on their web site at a buy it now price that ends up being cheaper than what the final auction price on Ebay is. Example: I just purchase two Cleveland 588 BeCu wedges in MINT condition for $34.50 each or $69.00 on their web site. The same two wedges in MINT condition listed by 3balls with a starting price of only .99 just sold for $102.00 on Ebay.

I'm in the process of paying for a club that I just "won". I've gotten at least five emails from different addresses (none of them have 3balls in their domain) asking me if I'm interested in the item and how much I want to pay. Of course I'm interested, I just won the freakin' thing. Not to mention that English is probably not the first language of those corresponding with me. I figure I will wait until Monday and contact 3golf directly to get this sorted out, because I'm not paying someone that can't even communicate with me efficiently. Not to mention that when I did try to pay (multiple times at that) their redirect link didn't work. I'm not impressed so far, but this is my only dealings with them and just my second time buying on Ebay because of a similar issue I had two years ago. I had great success dealing with gppgolf so who knows.

That's why you're seeing more and more *** in ID bidders: to avoid this kind of phishing!

I've bought many time from 3Balls (Ebay & via their Web site), I'm very satisfied and certainly will continu to buy from them

I usually find what I want through Ebay but then visit their online store where they have the same deals. I have gone more of BUY IT NOW lately instead of actually bidding as the phishing scams come a running as you are experiencing. 3balls will contact you direct so I would send them a note via their store page and ask for guidance on payment and such. You should also be able to go into your ebay account and see a direct link for payment on same page you made your bid now that you have won. Good luck but they have always done me right and no complaints here.

That's exactly what happened. I called 3balls and got a person quickly that lead me to the right spot. The link still wasn't working for me, but then they sent me an email that took me to a shopping site on THEIR site and I was able to complete it there. We'll see how long before I get it, but it appears I was a victim of "spoof" emails. Ebay's site tells you what to do with them. But I now hate that as much as I hate SPAM. But so far, to get back on topic, I was impressed with their customer support. I had left a message and I did have to call them again (didn't get a call from them yet even though I'm on the West Coast and I'm impatient). We'll see.

Just bought 4 clubs and had them delivered to Denmark within a few days. Fast, cheap, and clubs at least as good as described.
