FW shaft recommendations

So I just pulled the trigger on an 18* M6 5 wood looking to replace my current 16.5 HL wood. I got the head but no shaft. Looking for any advice on any of these “older” models. Looking really for a smooth swing (driver 95+) and no more than mid launch and spin. Don’t want this club too high or ballon. A local shop by me has these FW shafts all for $75 and under. I currently have a made for Matrix in my 3HL that I don’t care for one way or the other.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I love my Tensei Blue and it fits the profile.

That is what I was thinking as well. The Speeder 757 may be a good option as well depending on which model it is (pictures would be helpful if possible).

The Speeder is an older one. Basically white shaft with red writing. I have heard the Blue is a decent FW shaft.

There are some deals to be had on eBay for Fujikura Speeder 869's.  The 8.1 is mid/mid and it is a killer FW shaft.

Hi everyone. I am looking for some good driver shaft options for some clubs I just recently purchased. Mizuno St200 (9.0) and Srixon Z785 (10.5). I have a swing speed around 104-108 mph. Handicap 0, pretty consistent striker of the ball. AoA- +1.5 on average. I am thinking perhaps a little lower launch with the Srixon due to the higher standard setting? I am not looking at spending more than $150 on a shaft as I think there are some good shafts out there for less money. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You should do what you can to try different fairway wood shafts. Nobody here can tell you which one will be good for you. If in the past you've had a fairway wood shaft which produced shots you like that would be a good place to to start.

I went with the Tour Blue. Very pleased. Great overall performance.

Do you have more info on these? See a 869 8.2 titleist fairway shaft for a good deal but can’t find info on it.
