Just finished up neural drive. Didn't make crazy gains across the different weights and my grit score wasn't that great during this program for various summer reasons.

195g went from 97 to 99. 280g went down from 90mph to 89mph. 145g stayed the same. 95g went from 102 to 109. Pretty sporadic.

But most importantly driver went from 103 to 108! I'll take it.

Onto Full Speed Spectrum next.

Interesting. I saw some nice gains with Full Speed Spectrum. I took a slight pause for some hand stuff this summer but doing Neural Drive now and getting back to where I stopped but seems to be more boring compared to Full Speed Spectrum without the step swings and a lot of the same weight ranges. I know each program is difference for each user but just my two cents. Good Luck!

My second time ever doing neural drive and i didn't really like it either time but wanted to push through and finish it.

Looking forward to full speed spectrum!

Been ramping back up and even after countless beers last night during a really solid 9 hole round and cheating on the diet with some McDonalds on the way home it was time to Stack this morning. Felt alright and numbers during warmup were higher than normal and threw up some big PR’s! I couldn’t let it go to waste so after went straight into a speed session with my driver and hit several 122’s/123’s (highest ever on ball for Trackman was 123.4 CHS and 123 on PGR) then wham threw up a few 124’s and then a 125/127 back to back with really good contact.

Is anyone using the Stack system in a smaller room of their house? How long is it and how much space do you need? As much as you need to swing a driver?

I bought the junior model, it works great in a "normal" house.

And presumably everything else works the same (launch monitor etc)?

How many days a week does a typical plan have you using it?

Normal one is about the length of a hybrid I would say. Not sure on Junior model length. Every 2-4 days or so it wants you to "workout".

Yep, that’s why I just do an extra rep. I think jumping from light to heavy requires a bit of adjustment

Yeah I will have to pay attention more. I have seen that jumping to heavier from time to time. Often times though when going lighter I will have a PR or higher readings when going from heavier to lighter though on rep one.

That’s interesting. I went to a bigger Lamkin grip because it seemed to have more traction.

I have thought more than once about the idea of the Jumbomax after Speedstick came out with that big pressure grip looking thing (can’t remember the name). Thought that would be interesting to try the JumboMax to kind of emulate that.

Oh for grip strength. I’ve seen that. Yeah in the video he said he doesn’t like that particular grip for his regular clubs but it provides him the most speed on the speed sticks.

9 or so months in: the gains initially came quickly and now are slow but they are there.  Just need to be consistent and have some faith to stick with the process.  In May/June, needed to fight and gear up to reach 101/102 195g set stack speed, and would often see 99 and 100s. The past two weeks I am seeing 104s and 105s with the 195g swings - 102s and 103s are maybe the slowest.  Started this around January at 91 195g swing speed.  Find your swing speed cues that allow you to wring out the fastest chs you can; these cues might shift over time.  Right now its thinking quick takeaway and long long backswing.

Taylor Made P790 3 and 4 - KBS C-Taper 120S

Taylor Made P760 5-PW - KBS C-Taper 120S

Callaway MD5 Jaws 52.12 W and 58.12 X - DG 115 Wedge

Anyone else find that they can see progress in the lighter and heavier weights, but don't see a lot of progress in the 195g sets?

I started at 105mph for 195g, and have had one set so far in the foundations program where I have averaged 110, but this was a bit of an anomaly. I generally hover around the 105mph mark every time I do 195g. I'm on phase 3 of Foundations. Seeing steady progress on the other weights.

How does your 195g compare in percentile to the rest of weights? Maybe you are slightly higher in that range vs the others and had more room for improvement at higher and lower weights.

I think people go through the ups and downs and I just figured every PR at any weight got me just a small amount closer to the next bump in 195g.

There were times with 8 or 9 sessions in a row where I would set PR’s at different weights and not move 195. Then whatever it was (extra rest, hydration, etc.) one day it would jump 1 or 2 mph and that would kind of be my new floor.

speed training is just weird!

Here is my Percentiles for each weight. As it gets heavier I drop off a little bit, but 195 doesn't look too bad to me.

Well said, I told myself going into the initial training that I wouldn't get hung up on results. Stack does a great job of presenting data and it seems pretty easy to get hung up on PRs. I try to keep my head down and give it my best every time I swing. I'm waiting until I finish the training to see where I stand and go from there.

The results I am paying attention to are all on course. The distance I'm gaining is incredible and what's amazing is my effort hasn't changed. I recommend it to everyone I play with.

I know one day someone will use my referral code!

Are you going all out when it tells you to? Idk how you’re swinging the 300g 8 mph faster than the 95, the 95 is way way lighter. How is your mobility

45, athletic, maybe 10 lbs over weight.  Never been the most flexible person but I can still move pretty fast.

I've never been able to swing something light fast.  No idea why

You are not alone, I have seen two other people who could not swing a light club fast.  One guy was the same speed with any weight.  I have no idea why this is or if it means anything it is just something that I have observed.

Haha I feel your pain in the referral code!

Love the additions and improvements to putting. As you mentioned it gets a bit disheartening after the initial boost but you keep grinding and every PR is something.

I am completely with you. Just an easy swing is now higher vs my previous all out and stability, control, and speed have much improved.
