Feel is good, but a little firmer and with a touch more click than the MG3 wedges to me when hitting them side-by-side. It sounds worse typing it than it really is. Still responsive and you will get good feedback on where you made contact on the face.

Thank you.

It's really coming down to a choice between the Callaways and TMs for next season's wedges. Performance is king of course, but I really hate hard feeling wedges, so I appreciate the initial feedback.

TM seem to offer more loft and bounce and options, and better customization, however the full face on the Callaways certainly has its advantages, plus I've always loved the c-grind as a jack-of-all-trades option.

Dilemmas, dilemmas...

Could always go 50* + 54* (bent to 55*) in the MG3 and then go 60* in the Callaway!

I'll almost definitely be getting a 58* in the black. I open the face up a lot on my sm8 around the green, as I often find myself in the rough or bunkers... 0_0

I constantly find the grass mark on the high toe and even as far out where the grooves have stopped. I used a CBX full face wedge for a decent chunk of last year and I did really like the full face feature. Wasn't a fan of the looks and what seemed like a very upright lie angle, so I'm hoping this has a bit better of a shape.

Forgive my ignorance what does the "Raw" mean?

The metal is not coated with any finish such as chrome or the black finishes, etc. It's just bead blasted or sanded and then sold.

For what it's worth. here's my review up to this point. I've been all Callaway for years but my favorite wedge has been the MD5 Jaws in the tour gray, 54* & 58*. ( I do have a set of X Forged in mint condition however)

I liked the idea of the full face PM grind in the 58* spot, but could not get past the looks. Enter the Full Toe in black. Three rounds in I love how it sets up behind the ball! Feel is just a touch firmer than the MD5's. Not off putting in my opinion. The higher CG is noticeable on almost all shots except when its wide open. Chip shots and full shots launch slightly lower. (Which has me contemplating one in 54*) I never used to hit my 58* on full shots, but this wedge has changed that. But where this wedge shines, is when you have to hit the full blown flopper. It performs just like the PM grind but with a greater degree of precision if that makes any sense. The large offset and radiused front edge made the PM feel unwieldy imo. Not with this wedge though.  Also, the low spinning, one hop and stop is pretty easy as well.

Great feedback, thank you.  I am generally looking for wedges with a higher CG, these just might fit the bill.

No worries. Give them a try and see what you think. I would be interested to hear if you find they launch a little lower.
