Anybody confirm SH house actual hours? Listed as open for pickup at 7am but hoping people have been able to pick up a little earlier to get to the gates before the course opens

Thanks to everyone for all the great info in this thread, especially @dmbolp for being such a great steward of all his info!

 

We are driving to Augusta now to hopefully find some tickets on the street for afternoon viewing and we have tickets for tomorrow (rain, rain, go away).  First timers!!

Good luck with both the tickets and the weather, let us know how you get on. I am in a similar position, driving down Friday afternoon and looking for Sat/Sun tickets

I waited to post this so I didn’t jinx myself! 
 

Bought my Monday and Tuesday tickets on March 28th, prices were holding firm but randomly tickets were hitting that were competitive. Bought a Monday all in for $1234 ($832 pre fee) and Tuesday for $1185 ($853 pre fee). I was watching like a hawk and saw these both pop up so snagged them fast. Still paid more for Monday vs 2023 by almost $400. Both tickets were mailed to me April 3-4.

 

No issues with tickets scanning. What was interesting was the Tuesday came from an Augusta address I know that from FedEx. 
 

On Monday when I left, Wash Rd brokers did have Tuesdays, one them that looked less legit than the others had the guy flashing the badges as I drove by. I know they were Tuesdays since I obviously had one and knew what it looked like. I did not meet anyone either day that bought secondary. Met a lady who got 4 tix in Monday lottery first year applying. Left 430 Tuesday and saw nothing shady in the north gate lot. 
 

Overall, great 2 days

Missed the Noon, 1pm, 1:59pm SH prices, was in the heat of the battle in a tourney at my Five Iron Golf simulator across the street, currently in 3rd place! 😜

1234...That's my number!!  Whenever my daughter or I see it, we text a picture of it to each other.  Sent her this one just a few minutes ago from the driving range 🙂

Got tickets through Vivid Seats for one day this weekend and similar to SH there is a pickup location that only starts at 7am day of rounds. Question for those familiar with the area and tournament: the pick-up location is on Bertram Road which as the crow flies is not far from the course, but given all the traffic restrictions seems like the most inconvenient spot possible for someone coming from downtown. Any suggestions for how to best navigate this? I've looked at a number of ways and come up with a couple options:

1. Loop all the way around from the south to meet up with 20 and get off on Washington Rd before traffic closes to that off ramp at 7am (allegedly) but then have to take a left off of Washington Rd to Bertram (is that possibly during the tournament?) and someone make a left out of Bertram after getting the tickets. 
2. Loop around from the north and come down Alexander. Pull into the Kroger lot and walk it from there to the pick up spot (0.5 miles) and back to the car where we'd get back on Alexander to cross Washington to the parking lots. 

I hesitate with option 1 since I'm not sure what directions are impossible/difficult during the tournament. Wish these third parties would allow you to pick them up earlier especially given the fees! Thanks for your help.

Without the actual address, is parking at the Augusta Lot and then walking to the pickup spot by 7am, and then walk to the course, be an option...killing the car early

It’d be a little over a mile from the pickup spot to the gate. I’m physically capable but adding 2+ miles round trip isn’t ideal from a timing perspective. But it just may be the path of least resistance. Thanks for your input.

Walk the first mile to VIVID early, recover...maybe they release early, then you're just walking the mile to the course.  I would not want to be in a car as late as 7am a mile from the course...if you want a gnome.  If not worried about merch or placing a chair early, drive.

So I just pulled the trigger on a SH ticket for Saturday. First timer and looking forward to it! 
 

When will I get an email about pickup? On SH it says fedex delivery but I assume that is incorrect.

Great advice. I enjoy shopping and getting things either checked, shipped or trunked before hitting the course but last Saturday at ANWA (with the South shop not being open) made that nearly impossible since it was a 1.5 hour wait when entering at gate time. We hit the shop when leaving and hauled it out to the car and I loved it. I am not a gnome person though as stated.

Ordered a “grounds” ticket off stubhub for Saturday and can’t find anything about pickup at the address mentioned in this thread. All it says is fedex delivery. Am I missing something? Just want to make I have everything lined up correctly

No way to tell really but if you enter the South Gate and hit the shop there it will likely be less crowded. The shop there is smaller but has a good variety of items.

MMO had those last year when I got back, $89 I think. All over ebay as well.

 

I think we ended up with 5 different Corkcicle models after last year, they are really great souvenirs.

Anyone have any luck getting to the SH house around 7 pm the night before to pick up their ticket?  I know it says 7 am day of event but curious if anyone has tried picking up the night before after badges are returned.
