eBay: Selling Last Years tickets for face value, but of course worthless now, with numbers and colors showing.  Does ANGC blacklist this patron?

Just thinking of trying to walk up mid-day and purchase tickets that someone may have sold leaving the event earlier in the day.  Is that sort of transaction a thing with SH?  

 

I realize that's a thing with random sellers, but like the idea of the purchasing through Stubhub with some protection there.

 

Last year Stubhub sold until 2pm each day; lots of intra-day pricing in this thread.  You may need to place your order on your phone app while at the SH house; don't know if they can take your credit card info from you there.

It could be, and as you know this is one of the few tourneys that have the big boys from LIV & PGAT this year. This will be our 4th day there and I believe with the diminished viewer ship, attendance, saturation and lack of some players on the PGAT. $2,400 with fees, and that doesn't even include the taxes!

And Monday is down to 113 tickets on Stubhub.  Of that:

 

- 80 are the single speculator who put them up on March 4, 20 groups of 4 all separated by $20, originally with sequential section and row letters/numbers

- 12 are the 2nd lowest listing at $3,100 each

 

There may only be 21 actual MON tickets available

Can't currently "buy" any of the MON listings.  I bet they've removed all SHIP listings, and the 5 above are LMS

Can't "buy" any day...tournament cancelled!! 😛

 

Edit: Can "buy" now; MON is now LMS.  Makes sense: ship tomorrow WED for delivery of FRI, go MON.  TUE will be tomorrow, WED will be FRI, etc

Safe bet to buy and ship from SH? Folks here have done it with no issue? Buddy is from Augusta and has connections to my tickets and his but I’m wanting to buy one for the best man in my wedding so he can go with us. Any concern with buying in advance, shipping and getting in once we get there?

 

Looks like $2400 all in for Saturday right now. Not as bad as I expected but don’t want to get screwed coming all the way from Dallas.

StubHub will have you pickup on Friday night late or Saturday morning. They don’t ship tournament dates. Sellers/Renters send to them to . You’re normally renting use of a 4-day badge.
 

You’ll have to sign paperwork that if you lose the badge, you give them full access to your 401k. Or something like that. 😬

So a ground pass listed on their site will cover me for that? Fairly risk free?

 

Sorry for the hack questions, bad luck not getting a third ticket for our group and scrambling to try and make this happen.

Zero risk if you’re using StubHub. Should they have sold a ticket that’s refused entry, you go back to their Last Minute Services office where you picked up, and they’ll replace.

$1300 to see a practice round strikes me as madness.   The $2800 they’re asking (and getting?) for Wednesday is insanity.  
 

But I guess it’s no different than people dropping a grand to sit in nosebleeds for U2 at The Sphere.  
 

Having grown up in the early 80s in NYC with ticket connections, I still have a hard time dropping over $20 for any live event!

I wonder if those real low sales Stub Hub posted are actually legit. I saw some other very low sales like that on another day tha I was looking into. I would be curious if you are able to find out their LMS address.

Multiple reports here are that it means: not-mailed and have to pick up at Stubhub house near parking lot the morning of
