Would love to have the new wedges to match my gen 4 irons, but not spending ~ $1500 to do that.

It is sad that a complete set of Gen4 irons is basically the same cost as 3 wedges. Make it make sense @PXGSocialTeam

Here's an extreme dark SD2 look after a few range sessions around the green and 3 rounds used 90% out of bunkers. Profile is smaller than other SDs which minimizes the bounce IMO. So easy to get this out of bunkers in all types of sand conditions.

I would like someone to explain to me why you need grooves way out on the toe? If I'm going to hit it that far out on the toe it's a bad shot, PERIOD!

Apparently not with full face grooves. Companies that produce these believe it to be a more forgiving club head on open faced shots and also produces consistent spin on off center strikes. I'm a Wrxer and never miss the center, so I'm not sure this is true or not...🤪

Often if you cut across the ball on wedge shots, flop shots,  & in bunkers, the toe strike is common… the full grooves then give spin to that sort of strike on the ball.

This^^^^^ I believe when Callaway or whoever started the hi toe full groove remake they stated on flop shots and bunker shots the ball tended to roll up the face towards the toe...grooves to help spin when that happens I guess

I noticed it best for shorter shots and pitches. I have the original TM high toe and really didn’t notice much about the wedge otherwise. Not great for anything above 30 yards.. wouldn’t see a benefit above 56* of loft. 
 

Great for a bit extra from the rough or sand though when opening the face.

I know it’s an old thread but I’d love if us regular people could get our hands on the 4 and 7 bounce 60s and 58s. Would kill for the 60.07. The 46 would be nice to be able to get too.
