#7 Nano

I played a slant neck 7s for a couple of years and this is much different, as I'm sure it's intended to be. The 7s is 25* and the #9 is 62*... so the Nano being in the 40* range is aggressive, but not #9 territory. It does feel very toe flow-y with that neck was my intended message.

 

I’m curious about this. Odyssey’s website lists the 7s as 40* toe hang, same as the nano, which would suggest it’s basically just a smaller version with a different neck. However, it seems like their marketing (suggesting this could replace a #9) and others here would suggest this has a lot more flow. 

 

I rolled it at the recent shop, but I’m not sure what to make of it as compared to standard 7s.

I put one in play today and I really like the look at address and that neck. Grip is just ok, finish is really well done. Love the White Hot insert.

Played again and I love this putter. It's a keeper for sure. Insert feels great, weighting is good, might change the grip.

This twist on a classic is very good for the eye line, great for setup…and it’s easy to get putts started on line. To me, the face is a good feel, but it is…”hot”. And I’m not giving up, but it’s like it has an extra 3ft on any putt I make coming from a forged. 

 

Put a 5.0 fatso on it to see if it’ll help me slow it down. The address and feel are good enough to tinker in order to find the speed.

Just got a OG 7s and it feels so good. Have not played an Odyssey putter in many years. Way more forgiving that the Scotty Phantom 5 and 5.5 I just came from. So far, holing more putter with it. Distance control is better too.

I was so happy when odyssey announced they were going to release this putter, bought it as soon as it was available. 
 

I love the mini 7 head and the white hot insert feels great. I was a little skeptical of the flow neck at first, but after playing a few rounds it looks fine. 
 

I got the one without the stroke lab shaft and it feels awesome. This one is staying in the bag!

Here is the toe hang pictured with a more traditional mallet slant neck in the EXO 7s Mini and Spider Tour, as well as side by side with the #9 itself. Much more similar to a Spider, etc than it is to a #9. Just don’t want people being dissuaded by thinking it has full toe hang. But yes, it does look quite a bit different at address than the standard 7 shape.
