Welcome to the forum. Thanks for the compliments. I really have to update the pics as most of the clubs have changed. The Oakley...was only available in Japan..so flight and $300+.

I don't consider any of it a waste of money.

BTW..bag pics are about four iron sets, four drivers, two three woods, four hybrids and ten putters old. I really need to update.

LOL...Thanks for the compliments. At the moment though...doing an iron test with Mizuno MP68's, MP58's, MX300's. When I figure out which set is the best for me..complete a write up for here including a ton of comparison pictures, then I'll put up my WITB for 2010.

Thanks guys. And thank you for the reminder that my bag pics are still way out of date. Currently driver-less...3 wood iffy, hybrid set, irons questionable, wedges set, putter set. As soon as I get it set-ish..and then pick the bag for the month to put them in..I'll snap a few current ones.

LOL...as one of the regular foursome...you of all people would know! Even the bag has changed...at least as of today.

Probably the only place you'll find one is if you find an owner who has one for sale. The one I have (not for sale) is a Golds Factory cover which came out probably three years ago. They only make limited numbers and once they're gone...they're gone.

Well..since it's been over a year....and to make everyone think I stuck to one set...I've finally decided to update the pics.

Since the last update...several drivers of lofts between 7.5-10.5 have gone in/out. Yes..I know and have access to a launch monitor. I just try a lot of different combo's. Kind of like how I've played 55-90 gram X & Stiff shafts. Currently messing around with a R9 Superdeep/10.5 w/Fubuki Alpha 70X and a G15/7.5/Graphite Design TD DI. Yes...big differences in them. Irons...hmm...been a lot of sets of those as well from full on GI to blades. I went through several Mizuno sets, Ping sets and Cally sets. Currently playing a set of X22 Tour's. I hit a friends set at the range and was amazed how long they were. Probably due to the juiced up lofts but I enjoyed them enough to get a set to experiment with till I see my next set I want to try. Which so happens to be the new Adams CB1 or Ping Anser Forged. Wedges, although I love my Chikara's like they were gold, I'm still a ho at heart and have that need to try everything that comes out. I've rotated Cleveland CG15's, Cally Jaws, and now Fourteen V4's. Putters, I'd say it's a revolving door but unfortunately I usually let them in and never let them out. I've been rotating my Captain Morgan, a Mizuno Pro 9001 and my new Yamada Milled. Differences in those...Stainless, Carbon and Copper Plated Carbon. I've also been messing around with a Laguna 1st of 500, Custom Morgan "FINE a**", and Cameron Cali Del Mar.

I don't know anything about what Yamada claims..or what their putters are made of. I just know I really like the feel of my Yamada. Of my blades, I like the original 8802 but the weight was always an issue for me which is the reason I like my old '96/'97 Napa's. Love them a ton as well but they are also not much heavier then the 8802 and being black ox, not the easiest to care for. But I continued to like them along with some Betti BB2's like my SB-3 which is a tad bit heavier then the Napa and carbon as well. Those were my favorite till I got the Yamada. Although I own a lot of blades, if you're a fan of them you'd know that although similar in looks there are many nuances that differentiate one from another. From pics, I liked the shape of the flange on the Yamada as well as the thicker topline. Traits that I've always searched for when buying 8802 style putters. I also liked the shape of the neck as it flowed into the blade. Some can look clunky while the Yamada flowed well like the Betti's and Napa's. The copper finish was something I had wanted to try as well so I contacted Joe Kwok and had him send me the 348gram head that he had.

Upon receiving my putter from Joe, I studied the head and compared it to some of my other blades. I really liked how the weight was hidden in the putter. From above the sleek looks were there with no clunky look. The feel with the copper plating and carbon his is simply wonderful. There is still an audible click but the ball seems to roll off softly. I'm really loving this Yamada and it's now at the number 1 spot in my blade collection easily.


ps...wow..my bag has changed quite a bit already since this was last updated.

I was just thinking that although you kind of updated the WITB last month, I don't think you have most of the clubs in the update. You need to work on another update. Then again, you should be updating this bi-weekly or even daily.

I looked at my WITB and noticed, that the only thing that changed in year or so is the driver, three wood and the addition of a hybrid. Discipline is what it takes to say no when my friends are the biggest hos in Hawaii.

LOL...I guess my golfing buddies are the only one's that can keep track. Probably better then me as well since half the time I'm not sure if I had something in the past already. Your bag is probably the most steady one in our group. I'm not sure if that is a good thing or your handicap.

BTW...me and Bubba will be attending HHH..the Happy Hawaiian Ho group. Where we confess our sins....and then do it again. Meetings held weekly on Saturdays at AGC followed by copious amounts of pork at Max's of Manilla.

Also, those CHIKARA DESIGNS wedges are really nice looking. Never even heard of them, but the sole grind looks great to me.
