Warning for being rude?

I received a warning today about a rude post but I have no idea what post is being referenced here.

 

Was this sent to me in error or can you point me in the right direction so I can take steps to make sure I don't make the same mistake in the future?

The warning came in a personal message, no ?

 

Perhaps you should just reply to the warning message, respectfully of course, and ask what is was you said ?

It was just an "acknowledgement" of the warning that was a banner on the top of the screen.  It was not a message.  Very strange, never seen it before.

Interesting. My warnings have been via messaging.

 

In that case you might want to send your request for info to gwrxmod. Those messages should at least get to the right person.

I’ve gotten warning due to comments on the for sale section. Might be one of those. Hard to reference most times since they delete it.

Similar thing happened to me a while back for using some foul language. 

 

The warning came across as a banner the next time I opened WRX, but it didn't reference the post that caused it which I found to be a bit odd.

My warning was delivered by FedEx.   Indicated was from Omaha Steaks but when I opened there was a dead fish wrapped in a grips4less flyer.  I knew then I had crossed a line.

I was upset about what I considered a racist, and ageist comment by the OP. If you felt I went to far, that is your opinion, and I suppose I have no recourse other than accepting the warning.

 I’m curious…. Was the OP also warned for his comments?

I have no idea how to “report” a post. If you go to the thread I mentioned about scratch players using pxg irons they’re discussing it right now.

Use the drop down menu located off the 3 dots on the top right to report posts. 

 

We don't allow personal attacks regardless of the situation. Any posts referencing your post were also removed.

At this point that seems like it would be a futile gesture on my part, since I both quoted the OP and referenced his racist remark in my replying post which was deleted.

Since you saw his comments then, and decided I was the only one whose posts needed to be deleted, I can only assume you have already decided that the language he used is appropriate on this site.
