Mizuno wait time?

This is kind of a dumb question but when you all say you “called Mizuno” … who do you call? On their website I’m really only finding a general Mizuno Sports customer service number. Can those folks help with this stuff? Or is there a golf-specific line?

Call the generic number press 3 for golf and it connects you to their customer service. They can look up your order and check on progress.

This is not true in all cases.  I ordered thru CC and called Mizuno to try and check on my order.  Mizuno could not find the order after 15 minutes or so of trying to find it.  The rep ended up saying that he was 95% sure the order was probably placed by CC, but as a generic order not specific to me.  All he could do is indicate when he thought the next order would arrive.  That leaves little to be desired as the size of the order may still not be enough heads to complete your individual order.  Short version you will not know when your order will be completed.

I think the wait time was 4-6 weeks partially delayed because of the hack - what set are you trying to order

I can only speak to my wait time on the 223’s. My order was placed 1/31, and I am still waiting.  My latest call to CC indicated they would have them 4/20, build, and ship by first week of May.

So your CC will get them on 4/20 and you will get them in May? My order was about one week prior to you. I hope we get in on the next 223 shipment coming Monday. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻

My order for 223s was placed on Feb 17; will be 8 weeks this Thursday.  Anyone have theirs within that timeframe?  

 

Do you all have a number at Mizzuno that I could call?

Generally you would need the Mizuno purchase order number that starts with 6 for them to pull your information

My order was placed 1/24 nothing yet @mjgarret FYI

i was fit on 1/13 but I don’t think my fitter placed the order until later which kind of sucks because I might had had my clubs by now if they placed it the Monday after the fitting

I did… Had been told they had a shipment coming 4/6, rep told me that order did not arrive and they are expecting it “any day”.  Said when it arrived they are working on orders placed 2/25.   Mine was 3/1 and he felt like mine would be built out of that shipment they’re expecting.

I called at 9:00 am this morning (4/11) .    Was told the 223 heads were expected today.    Still holding my breath...

I just called now, the 225 heads were supposed to arrive today but no confirmation of them arriving.

Was everything else in stock from your order or were they waiting on shafts or grips too?  That’s the 2nd rep that told me they were on 2/25 orders with everything in stock once they next shipment arrived.

Still waiting on my early February 225 order. If I didn’t love how these clubs felt I would have canceled by now and went to something else. I’ve waited this long though, so might as well just ride it out.

And this is why I’ve been nervous about mine and I ordered well after you did.  Tomorrow is my 6 week mark, my first club tourney of the season is a week from Saturday.  When I ordered I was quoted 6-8 weeks, which Mizuno told me they would hit, but there are so many posts like yours from people waiting on heads for in stock components I can’t imagine mine will be built within a week of the heads arriving.  My issue isn’t so much the delay, it’s the what seems like a never ending  push back on when the heads will be arriving.   I have a lesson and a driver fitting tomorrow and will talk to my pro about the irons then and make a decision on what to do.

Same here...order placed 2/6 fir crying out loud. Just some recoil shafts...getting a little ridiculous but at this point, I'll just wait.

The way I keep thinking about it is, these clubs are so good for all skill levels of golfers that they’re high in demand. It makes me comfortable with my choice and really excited.

Thats the same shaft I ordered.. Recoil 95 F4 hard stepped.  Per the rep today they are in stock and we’re just waiting on the heads.

I also see (from checking the TM component availability dates) that Project X IO 6.0 shafts are available 4/20/22 as opposed to the May or June dates that I have been seeing the last couple of weeks, for anyone who had been held up from that backstock
