Mizuno wait time?

I ordered three copper wedges from GG on 2/25. On the GG website arrival date has always shown 3/25. With today being 3/23, and no tracking info, I’m having some doubt. Would GG have updated by now if there’s a delay or will 3/25 have to come and go before they show a delay?

I ordered two wedges on 2/18, supposed to have been delivered 3/16. Called up GG, turns out they're backed up (shocker). I did expect backups but this is a bit silly, considering both wedges were completely stock. Updated ship date is 4/4, we'll see how that goes.

225s 4-PW, Project X LZ X stiff, ordered 2/10 but recognized for Mizuno on 2/23

 

Rep told me the 225 heads are expected to arrive 4/7. 
 

For my fiancées order,

she ordered JPX Hot Metals 921’s, 2/11 fitted, 2/23 order processed for Mizuno,

Rep told me that order may even ship out next week.

so 3/22 for the heads is now 4/7?  Why do I have a feeling that will be pushed back too?   I’m going to call tomorrow, if they tell me the same I may cancel the order and go with the ZX7’s with the same recoils shafts since they’d be here in a week or two..

I will say that these wedges are worth waiting for. I have a 54 D grind (from Ebay, new in plastic) and it's absolutely butter.

Maybe ST = soft stepped? 

 

They use STD as standard based off lie..... Just a guess.

Mine said 2/23 arrival on GG and didn't update until they actually shipped last week. I talked with GG a few times and they definitely were giving out arbitrary estimates, saying they've been delayed 7-10 days every time I called. Mizuno was much more helpful and they weren't completely sure when they'd ship, but 2 different guys estimated 2nd or 3 week of March and they were right.

Thanks, good info. GG still shows 3/25(today) for mine. I’ll probably give Mizuno a call next week.

Shaft step pattern says standard. That’s where it should say ‘soft stepped’ I’d think.

FYI you should get your T22 lofts checked as I had 1 out of 3 wedges that was delivered 2 degrees weak as it’s very easy to attach the wrong loft medallion.

Surprisingly I got an email today from GG saying my order has been delayed, but of course it said 7-10 days.

Not sure if this helps, but my custom T22 order from DSG was delayed for 19 days after the estimated arrival date. I was quoted 4 weeks, they arrived in exactly 7.

All orders that have been placed since Feb 3rd have been pushed back due to the 2+ weeks that Mizunos server problem shut down all incoming orders and production.  Mizuno is now on a 8 week turn around time.  For your order placed on 2/6 will probably be shipping by the end on the week is my guess.

Assuming the 225 heads pop into existence. As long as I get my irons before May 1st. That’s my hard deadline.

from what I've heard they are slowly coming in over the next week or two.  I don't know what was out of stock.

That I could handle. Thank you for that info! I'll surely post once I get the shipment notification, so others can better estimate

My order for the 223 was placed 1/24 - tomorrow I'll find out what's up.  If my order hasn't shipped, I will probably cancel this order and find out what other irons my golf store has in stock (if any).

I had an email GG sent that said 7-10 days delay right about the time Mizuno came back up from the attack. Hopefully it's right for you, but I didn't get a shipping notification for a month after that.

i ordered mine 1/16. i was thinking about doing the same thing, but i am happy i didn’t cancel the order. these are by far the best irons i have ever owned. hang in there. you won’t be disappointed! i hope yours come soon

I wonder how many other manufacturers are having delays.  I placed an order with Taylormade for fairway woods and driver.  That order is now delayed as well. I ordered  2 weeks ago and it lists my woods as being shipped by April 12 and my drive by May 18th.

Not all manufacturers are having delays.

Ordered a Callaway Rogue ST max with ventus blue 6s and GP TV plus4 on 1/21, received 2/11.

Ordered Vokey SM9 black wedge (50, 54) with modus 105s on 3/8, received 3/14.

Ordered a Callaway Apex UW 17* with ventus blue 7s and GP TV plus4 on 3/10, received 3/17.,

Ordered Mizuno 223 5-PW with modus 105s and GP TV plus4 (std loft/lie) on 1/19, supposed to ship this week...still waiting
