Mizuno wait time?

Just placed an order for Mizuno 225 4-6 and Mizuno 223 7-GW, was quoted 6 weeks so we’ll see.   I was going 225 in the 4 and 5 iron anyways and decided to go that route for the 6 iron too due to the comments earlier in the thread about the 223 6 iron being back ordered.

Quick update; Mizuno just informed me Nippon Modus 115 and Project X IO 6.0 shafts are backordered until March 31. 225 6 and 7 iron heads are backordered til end of March as well (similar with 223 6-iron heads). Ordered on 1/08 and will be estimated 12+ weeks from time I ordered if no more push backs. This pre-launch could not have gone any worse for Mizuno and it’s customers.

Wow.. I ordered yesterday and split my 225/223 at the 6/7 irons due to the backorder on the 223 6 iron,  looks like there was just no right way to go there.

Was told by a local shop owner yesterday Mizuno lost 30,00 club heads in the attack.

I just got off the phone with Mizuno and was told my wedges I ordered on 1/6 were shipped but lost by fed ex. They said I could reorder or just cancel. I decided to cancel and will now look in a different direction. 
I do understand that is not their fault but if I didn’t call I wonder when they would h@ve told me. Pretty frustrating!!

Fitted on the 11th Feb (UK club fitter), picked them up yesterday ( 5-PW 225's, with Shimada S-Lite shafts and Tour Velvet Align grips) - however the GW is still on back order with no ETA.....

Update!

wedges showed up today. I see why they were lost they had my name wrong but they are here and beautiful in person!

You might want to tell them and let them know you got them.  I’m cursed with a guilty conscious, but if you cancelled them they won’t charge you.  Also if they look into it, they will see you got them.  Might cause headaches.  That’s just me though.

Have you spoken to DD or Mizuno yet? I placed my order on 1/16 too and after speaking with Mizuno, they didn’t receive it until 1/18.

 

Same here that I don’t have any details or clubs. I spoke with DD last week and they said maybe another 1-2 weeks.

 

Keep in mind that Mizuno will ship to DD first and then DD ships out, so that will also take additional time to ship.

Funny you say that. I ordered through Golf Galaxy and they refunded them earlier today. Once I got 5hem I called back Golf Galaxy and told them I got them. Looking for some good karma😂

I see why the screw up may have happened. they had my first name wrong on the box.

I ordered on 2/3 Mizuno didn't get the order till 2/17 because of systems down.

I"m looking first week of April............if the backordered heads come in like they're supposed to

Heard back from the shop this morning. 921HMP 9 iron heads are back ordered till the 18th .Everything else in my order is in stock including wedges .  Hopefully they are here before I leave for my trip on the 26th . Tic tock tic tock 🙄

FWIW, I just called and they said my ETA (or ship date) is 3/16 for the order placed 2/6. There was no mention of any backordered components

I placed an order for 225s on 12/20 through my club. Big mistake. The Mizuno rep there said they would ship on 2/3. I try to be patient and wait until last week to call Mizuno and see what's up.  The customer service was able to find my order no problem and informs me the shaft ($-taper black) has been on backorder for a while and they don't expect to get any in for a while.  I have to go through the club to change my order. I update the order to $-taper chrome and are told they would build and ship immediately. I call today to check the status and heads are now on backorder until "at least the end of March"

 

Just FYI for anyone wanting to order.

I've ordered Mizuno a few times in the past and I do believe they drop ship direct from Mizuno...

I think it depends on where you buy from. Mizuno will drop ship from certain vendors. Discount Dan’s is not one of them from what I’ve been told from them and others experience I’ve read on here.

The other thread I linked to above for the MP’s has an image with the current items backordered.
 

My 3-4 week order became 4-6, and is now 8+ weeks MAYBE. What a disappointing experience it’s been so far.

Sorry to hear. Last week they said it should be ready in a few days. After seeing the other post and seeing some parts backordered until 3/18, I called this morning and they confirmed. 
 

If I knew it were coming for sure before April, I would eventually get over it. But I’ve hit two different delays now and by the time the heads come in, I’m afraid something else will be out of stock, like the shafts.
