I feel like my entire bag (except putter) is settled. Hybrid through 54 have been for a while now. The 3w is an exciting recent solidification. The driver is just fantastic. And the 58 lofted up to 60 has been a grand surprise.

Couple of tweaks...

 

Still in the Rogue st ls but had to drop to the 15* to get spin down. In an attempt to bring spin down with a shaft change, I tried a ventus black 7s tipped 2 inches. That reduced spin compared to the tr blue 7x (tipped 1). Since I had both 15 and 16.5 heads and I wasn't enamored with the tr blue, I decided to try the black in the 15. Thought it would be too low spin, but it's not. It's perfect and it's in the bag. It's even making me try a black 6s in my driver soon.

 

Putter...back to the old reliable pxg operator. I bumped loft up to 5* and decided to commit to it for a bit. Definitely helps reduce the hopping after impact that kills me from distance with that putter. Didn't stop me from ordering a spider gt with a plumber's neck tho...

Couple of changes as spring is underway

 

Driver shaft change from Venus blue 6x to black 6x

3w - rogue st la is out, aerojet std is in. Working on which shaft I'll play. Venus black 7x is tighter on dispersion but peaks 10-15 feet lower. Kai'li blue 70tx is spectacular on numbers and is good on dispersion but not as good as ventus.

 

Putter...these 2 are about the same. Toying with both. Pxg has been in the bag since October.

Just how the finish wears. It's super trusty. But isn't used much. Par 5 2nd shots really. But I've had it for quite some time now.

Aerojet 3w is just awesome. It just doesn't move offline.

 

Stealth+ still in the bag but I'm tweaking setup. I've been working through a couple of swing changes since November and driver got a little wonky. It's the only club setup closed at address and it's now the only club that I'm hitting occasional pulls. 

 

The aerojet 3w is so good I'm giving serious thought to trying the aerojet ls driver...

9.0 stealth+ is out. 10.5 stealth+ at 10 (tour adapter) is in. Gotta play with weighting. A swing change has me hitting everything really well but the driver lofted up from 9. Only club I was consistently hitting left. So tried 10.5 delofted and it never went left. But I lost 2 well right that I didn't have happen with the 9.0 head. Appear to be low spin dive bombers. So I'll put a 5g weight in front and move that 5g to the back heel. Raise spin just a bit and get less fade bias CoG...see how she goes.

 

Stealth2+ coming soon...10.5. Will go head to head.

Another putter change. Hopefully, being able to adjust CoG forward or back depending on green speed will make this one stick around for a while. I'm exhausted with putter trial and error.

A couple of changes...always at the top end...

 

Stealth+ 10.5 out and in goes Stealth2+. But callaway got me with the 2x trade and I bought a Paradym 3d. Decided to just get a backup vblack 6x and it arrives today. Paradym 3d vs s2+ head to head coming. I'm launching the s2+ low. Not sure if it's the shallower face or me. 

 

Also in is the Paradym 3hl std fwy. I liked the potential of this one before I bought the aerojet std 3w but I was never able to demo it until a few weeks ago. My concern was ballspeed and spin. Well, those concerns were eliminated. At 16.5 it's faster than aerojet and peaks higher. I did have to position the lead tape a bit forward to keep spin right around 3000, but it's been really good so far. Stock setup will be 16.5. But I had a situational setup yesterday where I played it at 15.5 and it performed admirably. Had 266 into a 2 club wind. Hit this hard, low running draw that ended up just left of the green and pin high. Can absolutely smoke this thing if needed. 

 

Could I be a callaway top ender? Hmmm. Titleist hybrid isn't going anywhere but let's see what happens with driver.

Also...$taper 130x 8i out of 54 and 60. In goes $taper 125s+. Found the 130x to not have enough feel around the greens.

2024 season coming and I have a major shakeup...

 

Paradym standard driver is in, stealth2+ is out. This paradym is just so solid. Tried the triple diamond and it didn't beat stealth2+. I didn't think anything could beat stealth2+. But after tweaking the paradym setup, it's 10 yards longer and misses are tighter than stealth2+. In the bag it goes.

 

3w - not fully settled yet but it looks like paradym triple diamond is in. Re-reading what I liked so much about rogue st ls....3d sits between where I ended up with the rogues. I tried 16.5 rogue and it just had too much spin. The 15 was good but I couldn't get it setup so I didn't live in the heel. Paradym 15 set to 16 is showing real promise, so I'm going to give it a run. Aerojet is still there. Aerojet just launches 2 degrees lower than paradym. That affects carry off the deck and I saw a couple.of times the carry number impact a result. Dispersion tightness with 3d has been a surprise. But, much like the paradym std driver, 3d 3w just launches in the window I want. 

 

Could I be fully callaway driver and 3w for the first time since the og warbird? Trending that way.
