MGI Zip - Best bag, can we try this again?

I have an Ogio Woode 15 cart bag.  It’s okay on the MGI cart.  
 

The bag is heavy/wide enough that it does not twist, the storage and pockets are good but the top layout is not ideal.  If if had a front putter well and if the top was sloped, it would be a great bag for the MGI.

Found. this thread as I am looking for the same thing.  In addition to a good fit, has anyone been able to use any props on. the top attaching arm to make the bag stand up little more upright?  I wish the bag / clubs did not lay at such an angle and were slightly more upright.  It makes it tough to pull the longer clubs at times.  I have tried adding in some foam but nothing I have tried as worked very well.  It seems like the bag sits 30-40 degrees and would love to get it 50-60 degrees to make club pulling easier.  Overall I love the cart, and it definitely beats pushing a cart, but a better fitting bag and more upright in my opinion would make it perfect.

I use a Titleist cart 14.  The base has a slot that fits the cart very well - better than the Ping Traverse and a couple of other bags.   I don’t have an issue pulling out any club, but I’m 5’ 10”.

I don’t have an MGI but maybe my solution will work for MGI and other carts as well. I have a ClicGear 3.5 and bag twisting on the cart annoys me. I have a carry bag and tried the carry/stand bag accessory that ClicGear makes and I wasn’t fully satisfied with that.
 

What I found works best is long re-useable zip ties. I feed them through the openings of the top cradle (at the hinges) and wrap around the bags legs. One on each side and the bag is super secure. I don’t even use the upper strap/bungee any more. I found the zip ties on Amazon. Just search for “reuseable zip tie”. I picked up a bag of 100 12” ties and, based on how full the bag still is, I doubt I’ll run out of ties during the lifetime of the cart.

My Mizuno Tour Stand Bag works great in my Zip X1. It has the cutout in the bottom that sits perfect on the X1 pedestal, and the bag legs don't prevent it from sitting square and still.

Finally got a Titleist Hybrid 14 and it is a much better fit than the Sun Mountains I’ve used. It’s a little heavier and I need to get used to the pockets but so far it’s a good solution.

I have tried everything to make my bag fit and the only thing that seems to work is a towel on the bottom rest that lifts the bag a couple of inches. 
 

I have also lowered the bag rest and it looks better but there is a lot less support in the golf bag so I am not too sure if this will work long term. 
 

Fully appreciate that the MGI bag may fit better but in my opinion it’s not the best looking bag. It’s a really strange problem to have given the quality of the buggy.

I use that same Clicker velcro gizmo. I emailed MGI and suggested they make a stand bag for the cart. I've tried several different stand bags and all of them have issues including the Titleist Hybrid that I now use. Having legs is a must for me for a lot of reasons and if they made one to match the cart I'd get one even if it looked a little dorky.

I use a Vessel LUX XV. It's a good fit. Tried everything to keep using my Player stand bag and no luck.

I was using a Hoofer Tour and continued to have the same issues the OP describes with my M7 remote. I switched back to a C-130 and haven't had a single issue since.

... I bought the MGI Lite because my Sun Mountain Sync kept getting lopsided on my ZIP. The MGI Lite has a notch that locks into place so problem solved!  But the quality is sub par at best. Clubs get tangled and even stuck in the 14 way divider and the driver slot is covered with a cheap fabric that ripped in a few months exposing the plastic underneath that could damage a driver shaft. The final straw for you is the base of the Lite does not lock into the Quad, which I also owned. 

... There are other bags like the Sun Mountain Sync that work mush better on the Quad and most have a rubber backing where the MGI has fabric and it lasts forever and doesn't damage your driver shaft. I am currently using the Cobra Ultralight Pro Cart bag that miraculously has the same square notch and locks into my ZIP cart. It also has the best cooler pocket of any bag I have used and in the 110*+ heat in the summer here in Phoenix, it is a must.
