With his head games involving the driver and how he's recently reduced the 2 way miss a ton, that doesn't surprise me at all. He went driver fishing a while back and I damn near thought he was going to quit the game LOL!

It's not that odd - a little softer (and sometimes heavier) in the wedges is pretty common with Tour pros. 

 

JT has x100 in the irons and S400 in the wedges.  (S400 is a couple of grams heavier that X100)

Scheffler has X100 in irons and S400 in wedges.

Homa has $-Taper 130 in the irons and Hi Rev 2.0 135 X in the wedges.

Kisner has heavier and softer Nippon Modus wedge shafts

Finau also has heavier and softer Nippon Modus wedge shafts vs. his irons.

Seems like quite a few guys now who play PX in their irons playing them in wedges just with a softer flex. I like the idea, wonder if they are OK with the lighter weight or if they add weight somewhere like some sort of shaft insert or counterbalance or something. 

 

Probably said this before but I don't understand why TT never came out with a PX Wedge 130 shaft for the PX guys.

i enjoy the superstroke grip on my putter as well, dont understand why they dont have fresh grips more often, that thing looks old!
