I am seriously shocked that it is so cheap! Don't know how I wound up with the "bargain bag" as I've bought i10s, s57s, RAC TPs, i5s, MP60s, G10, Rapture V2, etc, etc. over the last 4 months! I have to say that I have shot my personal best with this bag and am now sniffing scratch, so maybe it'll stick around. Do need some new wedges, and maybe something to make that ugly Sabertooth jealous. Coupla new shafts wouldn't hurt me either...

Since I've changed my set-up fairly recently I'll have another go at things:

 

The driver was about £180, bought new, and the shaft that's currently in it was about 40 quid so, all told, that single club adds up to about £220.

 

My 3 wood was bought nearly new for about a hundred and thirty quid (I think) and the shaft that's in it was a pull-out from a club I was given, so the total cost for my spoon is £130 or so.

 

When I carry a one-iron, it's generally one from an old set of Eye 2s that I bought in 1992. I'd estimate £50 or so would be the cost for that club alone based on the total cost of the set I bought.

 

My Titleists were freebies from a friend a few years ago after he tried them and ditched them, so no outlay there, and the pitching wedge was also a freebie after I did some club work for a friend recently and, after he tried to slope off without coughing up any dough for the materials I'd gone through, I ransacked his car boot and had it away with an old wedge that he'd retired. Bad luck John. It was a good try. ;)

 

The other wedges, likewise, were freebies from a couple of other friends. Thanks lads.

 

The Newport I'm currently gaming was one I bought on eBay a few years ago for about £130 or so. It was in tidy nick and I paid decent money for it as I specifically wanted one in good order.

 

Based on the above - and taking the trio of generous friends into account - I reckon my current bag (Nike pencil bag; £25) comes to a grand total of somthing like five hundred quid if sundries like gloves, balls and grips aren't taken into account.

 

Marvin the faithful Daphnes Great Dane headcover on my driver was about 20 quid too now I think about it...

 

Since Gordon's still in charge of things, the exchange rate is open to rapid change at any moment, but I reckon it adds up to about $850. A cheap set really.
