New Project X "Wedge" shafts (6.0, 6.5 and 7.0) – 2022 Shriners Children's Open

Love them in my irons but couldn’t stand the feel of them on partial wedges. S400 for me.

You have a point here in that the DG do have a certain familiar feel on partial shots around the green, and for me they do create excellent action on shots.  They are butt soft firm/stiff tip profile I believe so that makes sense.  I also thought I read somewhere (and I will research) that DG120 play stiffer in the butt section so i might look at them as I am trying to stay in that 115-120 gram range.  I do not like the dg s400 for full wedge shots.  Partial, yes.

Still have not seen these in a single pro’s bag yet. With how popular PX is in irons, it seems a bit strange

Agree, weird it's not in any pro bag yet since it's supposed to be launch soon .... first few pros to bag it probably players like Rory , Rahm etc ... nowhere to be seen

Saw on Instagram these are now available on Golfworks starting today. I still haven’t seen a single sighting anywhere on any tour. Very strange and makes me wonder if they just aren’t any good given how many top players use PX in irons. I’m still gonna give them a try but the excitement has been dampened a bit.

Good call, yup they're on GolfWorks now. I'm curious about these as well, but I can't seem to find any additional info on True Temper's website though?

If you click on the flexes On golf works, they all say currently unavailable. Rats.

If you look at the comments/questions section, golf works says they are expected this week, but 6.5 flex at the end of the month

He practiced and played with the wedge shafts for round 1. Following sub-par results, he switched into his normal shafts for the remainder of the tournament

It was not his wedge play to blame because his driving all week was super horrific and he barely hit a fairway, its the Ventus Black in his driver which should have been binned.

Might have looked that way, but only he knows how he truly felt. His wedge game wasn't bad, but he definitely could have played better around the greens, and knowing Rory he probably isn't one to change from tried-and-true.

So far he's sticking with the OG stealth and 5w, and after that approach shot that landed in the water on 18 I wouldn't be surprised if he ditches his new Stealth 2 3w..

Thanks for posting that. Seems like an incredible lag from the announcement of these to any sort of roll out/reviews.

Play the regular Project X myself and DG S400 in wedges. Been pretty curious about these.
