Lefties! Help me find these hard to find specs please

Left-hand 

1/8 toe hang or less than 20* toe hang.

Milled face (wouldn't necessarily mind an insert as long as its not mushy and doesn't slow speed considerably. I play on public courses with moderate speed greens)

 

Would love something that had a "softer feel". Some millings that give you that softer feel. 

Hardest part is finding a left hand version. 

 

If something had built in stability/forgiveness that would be an asset as well. Example is the Ping 2021 range with the tungsten plugs on the heel and neck.

(really liked the Anser 2021. Soft, point and shoot but the little bit of extra flow had me pulling the odd putt).

 

Currently play the Bettinardi QB6. Was custom for lie and loft as well. By far the best putter I've played but can feel firm. 

 

Only one I can find so far, but sadly not demo, is the Bettinardi Inovai spud neck. If you have any experience with it please share. 🙂

2022 Inovai 6.0 is what you're looking for.

Frankly Forged Five, if you’re playing a yellow V1x and a forged face, it’s going to feel firm. If it felt soft, those using Chrome Softs would feel nothing at all. 
 

A putter I thought very impressive this year is the Spyder GT Notchback. The combination of slightly oversize grip and moderate density insert give a firm yet muted response with high compression balls.

IMO just go face balanced and make your life easier.

An old Scotty golo 5 fits the bill from around 2013. Deep milled for a soft feel and face balanced.

Had it for years.

Would say the QB6 fits me even better and I like the longer sight line

Budget not an issue. With that said I won’t buy a $1500 putter lol

 

Face balance putters… went through that before. Just a tad of toe flow seems to be best for my natural stroke. Took years to figure that out.

might be very right Re the ball I’m playing.  Need the spin.

 

Tried the notchback. Has super reviews. Didn’t enjoy the feel.

Anser X is a slighter wider Anser with no neck and they use a double bend shaft. They can likely get the toe hang u want through the double bend shaft. But that’s $1250 through PLD. 
 

i have a similar stroke to yours based on data by how u describe needing that minimal toe hang but I’ve putter great for years with a #7 odyssey even though it’s face balanced.

The 2022 Toulon’s have a rather soft feel with their new deep diamond milling pattern. I have a Toulon Chicago and SC Phantom X11 and the Chicago feels much softer despite both being 303 stainless steel. Odyssey’s website currently shows the Las Vegas and and Le Mans as their lefty face-balanced mallet options.

 

(Las Vegas is their Toulon/milled version of the Odyssey 7, and Le Mans is their milled version of the Odyssey 11)

 

I might be misunderstanding the amount toe-hang you want, less than 20degrees? I interpreted that as 0-20degrees?

 

If u want a little toe-hang, the Odyssey 11 has 10degrees (idk about the Toulon Le Mans, it says 0degrees but their website has been inaccurate in the past regarding Toulon specs)

What about the new Cleveland HB Soft Line.  They check off every box, except 1/8 toe hang. They are all probably closer to 1/2 or 0. 

 

What you are looking for is near impossible. You can pick what head you like in face balanced and trim the tip of the shaft until you get your desired toe hang.

I play a 6 but the spud is a face balanced one. Find the 6.0 with the crescent neck. I have a stability shaft in mine. Love it

Latest... mainly as I'm losing patience lol...

 

Finally found a Scotty 5.5. in lefty to try. 5 would be perfect for my stroke but after fooling around at the store's green I found I liked the look at address, feel was nice, and could possibly learn to putt with a tad more flow. Maybe!

So bit the bullet and bought one. Made a deal with the store that I'd get a free putter fitting (with the computer and such...) to make sure the 5.5 fits me before doing any adjusting and I could return the putter if its not a good fit.

 

Because I can't find a Betti Inovai 6 spud to demo I might order one and try these two (all three really including my gamer) against each other. I like the sound of the Inovai with the softer milled face as I play the X ball. Plus it's supposed to put a good roll on the ball.

Latest update:

 

Nixed the Scotty. Too much toe flow for me.

 

Have ordered a Bettinardi Inovai 6 Spud Neck. Very similar specs to my QB6, except it has the "roll control face" for a better roll.

Need that according to the guy who fitted me at TXG.

It also should be more forgiving.

 

No idea as to feel until I get it in my hands. Been 3 months since ordered... yikes 😞

 

Since then Ive added lead tape to the back of the QB6 (was cut down at the fitting) and have been putting lights out!

8 birdies in the last 3 rounds. Feel is more solid, the added weight allows a more smooth stroke as opposed to feeling jerky when it was lighter.

 

Will be very interesting comparison once the I6 arrives.
