Sacks Parente

Does anyone have any experience with Sacks Parente putters?  The only putter that I can consistently play is my flanged bullseye.  Great when struck on the sweet spot, but very unforgiving.  I have heard that Sacks Parente putters have very high MOI.  I am looking at the Series 39 blade.  Thanks!

It will be higher MOI than a traditional bullseye, but it will still be unforgiving on relation to your traditional blade/mallets and higher moi putters.

Hello Yellowjacket82,  This is Steve Sacks and I actually know quite a bit about the SPG 39 as Rich Parente and I designed it.  I'm afraid 5hort5tuff is not quite right with his response.  The MOI of the 39 is about 5000.  This puts it higher than many mallets made today and leaps and bounds higher than any traditional blade made by anybody else.  The 4 heal and toe weights are about 126 grams which means over 45% of the putter (tungsten & Steel) is in the extreme heel and toe.  Also with the 39, because the shaft and face are in alignment with each other, there is zero gear effect on off center hits.  Our MOI numbers are on the website, so you can compare them with any of our competitors MOI numbers.  

As great as our MOI numbers are, the real story is Ultra Low Balance Point (ULBP).  The putter head is always trying to release and square itself and for probably the first time ever you will feel the putter head.  I would suggest going through the website to see how we're different.  One last thing, there is a performance guarantee on the the website.  Thank you, Steve

@Putterman 1 sorry I didn't realize that was the case. It is still a bit mind boggling but I understand the placement and location of the tungsten is how you achieve such might MOI.

Here are the MOI numbers of the current line up.  We front weight everything as much as we can which honestly makes it really hard to get a big MOI number.  It also gets better initial roll and better roll out.  Because of this I kind of look at everyone else's MOI numbers a little differently than everyone else.

I ended up ordering the 39.  Received it yesterday and practiced for 30 minutes with it today.  It rolls the ball great!   I have a light grip pressure and the putter wants to release and roll the ball at the target.  Although the 39 is a blade, I can feel the high MOI when I swing the putter.  Plan to put it in play tomorrow.

Played with the 39 today.   Very stable putter.  No 3 putts for a change!   The putter has a very unique sound.  Very tingly.  I’ll use it again tomorrow.

Played again using the 39 yesterday.  This is a very stable blade putter!  Very happy!

Picked up a 54MC nine stripe.  It rolls very nice and at 1/2 price it is the best deal out there.  
Most of my putting success came from my Toulon mallet with stroke lab weighting.  Sacks Parente weighting takes it one step further with a lower balance point to enhance feel.  I have tried many different stability shafts and lie angle balanced designs with less success.  Will report back when I have practiced and tested further

The 39 is a work of art and so I put it away for over a year now. Took it back out because I love the balance it has in my hands.  It’s my go to putter when things go south. Should of taken it out earlier.

I finally received my 54 center shaft. Initial testing shows it is hard to miss inside 10'. Lag putting at 20' was okay but I didn't sink any (sigh!). Will game on Thursday and see how it goes.
