Stealth 2 Fairway Woods

I’ve tried the plus version and it was too low launch and spin off the deck with the weight forward. It seems the standard version is getting a lot of love. Anyone hit and have any feedback on it?

Which shaft?  I hit with the KaiLi Red FW yesterday and weight in the middle setting was good for me.  I like I'll be able to adjust for course conditions.  I did see a review online where the tester of the plus vs regular got better results with the standard model.  TGW I think, two separate videos.

Picking up 3w+ in 16 deg setting this week. Had Accra shaft I’ll play in it (TZsix m4). The adjustability was what I wanted. Forward weight for lower runners on courses that will play that way.

The + 3w will HUGELY impact shaft performance. Moving that much weight around will alter shaft deflection dynamics. It's a really good 3w because you can find a setting to compliment your preferred shaft...not many 3ws offer that....none this easily.

Weight forward is very punishing on mishits...FYI

Just picked up stealth 2 3 wood with kaili white 70. This is so solid and dependable. I could swing hard and it didn’t go left on me. Such a forgiving solid head. It even worked off a hard Matt. Not overly spinny. Call me impressed. This fit me way better than the plus version. I think I saw Scotty Scheffler with same 3 wood in the bag. Makes me wish I tried the Taylor made drivers before I bought my cobra.

I just don't understand why they haven't made the max model with an adjustable hosel. They are the only one with a non-adjustable max model...

Hit mine over the weekend and was very impressed.  Agreed with the above statement .  Great launch, easy to hit off the deck.  Was really straight with stock Ventus 7-S shaft.  Was an A+ for me over 2 rounds.

I hit the 3w+ well but I could not get over the hollow sound. Even with weight set mid it was bothering me. Settled on 3HL and 7w in non+. I'm 3800 ft above sea level so 3w rarely comes out of the bag. HL should get a bit more use. Pairing them with Ventus Blue TR 7x & 8x.

I havent played a fairway in a few years now since Ive been going with mini driver in the 3w spot and then either a 2h or 3h. Ive ordered a fairway every year going back to Sim and just cant hit fairways anymore

I have the stealth 2 5w thinking it would be more controllable than a 3w. I dropped the loft a little bit but still cant hit it for the life of me. I know its me and not the club but im more consistent with hybrid.....when flushed tho the 5w feels great and goes a long way

Just picked up a Stealth 2 7w and wow, that thing is unreal. Had a TSi2 7w previously, but this thing goes just as far as my Sim2 Ti 5w. The stock shaft (ventus TR) is awesome as well. Really happy with the purchase and now I'm looking at adding a 3w or 5w Stealth 2 to the bag

Set up - stealth 2 15* plus w Ventus red 9x

Coming from og sim , sim2 ,

1st off love the adjustability- normally would have to go through the chapters of lead tape then hot melt

2 great off the deck , penetrating flight , no trackman numbers yet

3 shape and sole reminds me of the old tour issue m2 deep face (Jason day) 3w

I'm a bad golfer so, huge grain of salt.  I deleted the tops and shanks, but left 'normal bad' shots in.

Went and demoed the Stealth 2 7Wood and Stealth 2+ 3Hybrid yesterday at the range.

They were much closer than I expected.  I just sold all my old Mizuno clubs last month and have been in the market building a new bag.  Stealth 2 wood or hybrid, or both, was at the top of my list of wants.

29 shots with the 3Hybrid (Ventus blue?)

20 shots with the 7wood (Kaili Red?)

The data is just via the built in Flight scope at our local range via radar.  It says 2 Hybrid, but it's a 3, I was using that designation to separate a different 3hybrid I was testing.

There's likely absolutely nothing to be learned here for anyone, but thought I'd share just in case.

5 wood is money for me

I got fitted for the Stealth 2 Plus Driver back in January, went with the Kai'li blue shaft. I was lucky they had it in stock, so while the guy was changing my grip I picked up a stealth 2 plus 3 wood and wacked it a few times - the trackman registered 251m and the rest was history

The Stealth 2 Plus 5 wood is one of my favorite clubs, I have one in both my sets (I live between 2 countries). I kept my Rogue ST 5 wood from last year, set the Stealth 2+ 5 wood to the lowest setting, and I use it as a much more reliable 3 wood. The spin numbers are very low and so is the flight, so I can get maybe 90% of my regular 3 wood distance with much better consistency

I use the Stealth 2+ 3 wood when I'm playing Mid Ams since they're played from the tips, as I often find myself unable to reach the green with Driver + 5 wood. In that case I play them both on 2/3 open (the setting in the back), and get very high, healthy flight with reasonable spin

The main issue with them is that they're very unforgiving, you really need to wack them dead center or light toe to get a good strike. Heel strikes just don't cut it

I also have a Stealth 1 5 wood, and that is one of the best clubs I own. It is so consistent and reliable that I was able to get a ball within 1.5m of the pin on a par 5 two days in a row on the same hole with the exact same shot

They're all amazing clubs either way, you can't go wrong with any of them. The one offender for me personally was the Stealth 1 driver, I could not get that thing to go anywhere near straight

Love the Stealth 2 + 3 wood. I'm actually playing mine a degree up at 16 as I was getting some crazy distance. Have been off and on with a 3 wood for years but this one might just stick. I can play the weight forward for a tee club or to chase something up or weight all the way back and drop into par 5's in 2 pending the course. Love the options of this club.

I just switched up the top of my bag, stealth 1 plus driver & regular stealth 2 woods. I wanted to try a 7W instead of a Hybrid, so I decided to go with the 16.5 HL 3W. I ordered both with fujikura TR red 6S. I normally tinker too much so I figured with the bonded shaft I’d be less willing to change it & I think it’s a stock shaft offering? Idk I got them off 2nd swing.

I want to preface this by saying I was hitting my 3W so bad that I would hardly even pull it. 1st range session took literally 3 swings to start grooving both of them. Dead middle contact.

I played in a scramble this last weekend & pulled 7W from 250 (I don’t hit the ball far) & we had a green side chip. My buddies couldn’t believe the flight & sound of it. It was beautiful lmao. Then on the last hole we had a longer 2nd into a par 5 with tree trouble that called for a draw around the corner. I pulled 3W & hit it to left rough like 20 yards off. We used that shot ha.

I’ve been reluctant to game the Taylormades  because of the wacky paint schemes, even though I have in the past & always hit them well. I didn’t even realize that the stealths were all black because they weren’t even on my radar anymore.

Anyways, they’re sick clubs & I would deff recommend them. 4W & 7W setup also seems like an instant game changer for me. Now I can’t wait to pull them.
