grazed the ground on one of my last few swings during speed training and the stick blew up. 

 

broke at the tip and under the handle. 

 

im just happy the weight didn’t go flying down range or id be buying a new garage door

... Took that picture after moving to Philly from Columbus Ga and complaining about the cold. My northern fellow DJ's called me a Big Baby so I had to prove them wrong, even though they weren't. 🤣

... Rocked the beard for about 4 years and it certainly helped in the Chicago wind chills but once I decided to pursue an acting career it had to go ...

Played 1st round in 6 months. A dozen over normal for 94. Short game rust is very frustrating, so close yet so far. 3 OB's off the tee is too. Carried bag, I'm dead today. Good swings feel better than ever in respects. Have a plus guy joining us now, on 540/par 5 is hitting 5i into green for 2nd. Phew. He shot 79 so don't feel so bad. Great to play again.

... Sheesh, another year another sub par playoff loss for the Phoenix Suns. Poor shooting down the stretch, the same thing that plagued them last year. Chris Paul misses 2 mid range jumpers, as does Ayton and Craig. 5 missed easy 15 footers in the last 2 minutes. + Durant - Johnson and Bridges = same results.

4 titles in 7yrs makes watching the Warriors less stressful. Anything now just seems like more gravy... Still no joyride though! Haha

... I wasn't sure about trading Bridges/Johnson straight up for Durant as both are young and on the upswing AND Bridges can be a shut down defender but the four 1st round draft picks proved it was just a rich kid getting a new toy and abusing it immediately.

i know nothing about anyone involved in the trade because i don’t follow the nba at all

 

but i know that historically, trading away young homegrown talent for an aging superstar rarely yields the returns an organization is looking for.

Especially an aging superstar that’s as sensitive as a teenage girl and injury prone! 😜 Worked w/the Dubs tho. 2 ‘chips w/KD (woulda been 3 if Draymond didn’t hurt his feelings). Though they didn’t give away as much as the Suns for him and he was ~5/6 years younger.

... Yup, long story short Bridges/Johnson were really great people and great team mates, both highly respected by the community and their team mates. Bridges (26) was in the shadow of Booker as far as scoring and immediately scored 41 with his new team. Johnson (27)  is a young all around great player as well as a 3 point threat every time he touched the ball. I thought it was a dumb trade then and it seems like a dumb trade now.

... Right there with you and other than watching Curry in the Finals, I stopped watching the NBA after Krause broke up the Bulls Championship team in the 90's. I was spoiled by Jordan and Friends. Moving to Phoenix I started watching again because the Suns played such good team basketball with great defense. They sucked me back in and I have been watching the last 3 years. But I don't watch other NBA games, unless the Warriors make it to the Finals.

Warriors are the only basketball I watch in the regular season. I will watch other teams in the  playoffs tho. NFL, MLB I’ll watch pretty much any teams play.

you could’ve traded away gio urshela who hit .292 and played gold glove third base for you over 3 seasons, on top of being a fan favorite, for josh donaldson who is 8 years past his prime but plays like he’s 18 years past his prime and is also a clubhouse cancer

 

what’s that?  how’s urshela doing since being traded? great question. 

 

.285/13/64 last season in minnesota while striking out less than 100 times and now he’s hitting a cool .346 to start this season for the angels. 

 

and donaldson?

 

.222 with 15 homers last season and now he’s injured.

I agree they really would like to get out from his contract, but these teams never learn.  At this point the Yankees just factor Stanton to miss 60-75 a year in their roster construction.
