Back to the 80's. Forget the hair bands this was the pop rocker that got me moving .The last time I saw Billy in concert was outdoors at the newly opened Mandalay Bay Casino.  It was Vegas hot for the outdoor show and he was melting in his black leather pants on the elevated stage above the pool. I bet the British rocker lost 10 lbs. during that show. I was in surf trunks hanging with a few cuties in shorts and bikini tops. We had frozen drinks in hand and smoking weed. My social life was very good.  I was connected on the Strip back in my Vegas days. I got tickets to great shows and VIP cards to many of the hot and happening Night Clubs. Tonight this 61 year old is smiling while reflecting back on his decade living in Sin City.

TS how about one of my hometowns losing not once but twice their NFL team?

The St. Louis football Cardinals and then the Rams. That was double dirty for the fans from Missouri and southern Illinois.

absolutely beautiful out. started the round in a hoodie when it was 50 and ditched it by the 4th hole when it warmed up. 

 

4/7 fairways, 5/9 greens, 14 putts, even par 36.

 

first time i’ve ever done that.  two times before today i came to the 18th (if you play 9, they send you off the back) at even par and bogied 18. missed the green right today, hit a less than great chip to about 10 feet and hammered the putt in the back of the cup. 

 

i even got one of those cool chisag tee marks on my gap wedge!

Thanks t! Yeah I know the pain brother. Lost the Raiders 2x now and the A’s. Warriors moved, but thankfully jus across da Bay! Oh well, sucks but life goes on 😊

In a, why do I forget so much stuff I once learned I reviewed a chipping video that helped me get by the yips about 3 years ago.  I sensed I wasn't making super crisp contact so why not go back to the well?

 

I re-watched this, and ran out to the sim to give it a little work.  I only hit about 40 balls, none over 35 yards, and primarily in the 10 yard range.  The ball was hit better, more spin, and more accuracy.  The first 10 minutes are gold in my opinion, so if you struggle around the greens I attach this for you.
