I almost took and really enjoy watching Lydia Ko and her attitude and personality from what I’ve seen are fantastic. One example that stands out.

Went something like this.

A male reporter was interviewing her after a round. Lydia was saying that she had to grind out there bcs she wasn’t feeling her best. The reporter asked her what was wrong. She was vague, he pushed a bit more and she says “I’m actually cramping really badly because I’m on my period”. He shut up  😂

Oh yeah the 4th fell on a Tuesday so my work schedule was all messed up. 

It's not real hot here today. Current temp is 75*.

That's great weather to hunt birdies in.

... Fwiw here are my sleepers and I hope they don't come back to haunt me. They may not win this week but I think they will both be winning quite a bit in the future.

... I think more like Annika who dominated with just ridiculous all around stellar play without being dominant in any aspect of her game, other than mental determination. I see that same determination from Zhang. But she doesn't have the length off the tee as quite a few of the ladies nor can she "will in" every important putt like Tiger. But it is gonna be interesting to watch because she does not seem to have any weakness in her game.

Never heard of either one and that’s an example of why I really have no business picking a winner on the LPGA! 😂 In reality (like a typical guy) I’d like to pick who I think is the hottest (like how most women pick which males they root for in sports) and I’d definitely go with the woman pictured below even though I don’t know who she is!! 🤣

Annika isn’t a bad comparison either.  I know it’s a bold statement after 2 pro events, so time will tell if she will be the best female golf ever and has that clutch gene, to as you say be able to “will in” every important putt. She has shown in college she was the most dominant player without being dominant in any single aspect of her game.  Coming out of school, she has accomplished just as much if not more than Tiger when he came out. You may not agree, but she is certainly the most hyped since Tiger.

... Oh I agree with you and the hype as I watched many of her amateur events. And she may very well prove to be as dominant in the pros as she was in college. But I have seen quite a few dominant female college golfers through the years that barely made a living on the LPGA. But hard not to think she is different winning her very first Pro event and I am looking forward to watching her. The very fact that she is the favorite in her first US Open speaks volumes.
