No I did read that exchange between you two dudes yesterday and it was fun. I laughed at Big Fish reminding us that he was a boring man and that he should just have a head cover on his driver that just has a number on it. It was just when I was reading all the posts in the Lounge today that I had to look closer at each post to see if it was NorCal or New Jersey, and that is why I made my post directed at yours. Listen TS I'm a blonde so I don't need any extra confusion in my daily life. 😅

Like, as much as I love Alice in Chains and as good as the "new" singer is ... I just couldn't. AIC was Layne and Jerry. That was over when Layne shriveled up and died. As much as I understand WHY they kept going - I just rather it'd be a different group. 

 

Another reason I've got so much respect for Page and Plant and JPJ. There's no telling how much money they could have made over the years to tour without Bonzo ... yet they had enough respect for the group as a group to just not. Sure, there's been the handful of oneoffs - most of which were with Jason Bonham (a stellar drummer who captures his pops better than anyone) - but that's fine. Instead, they went off and did their own stuff; none of which was remotely successful as a LZ tour would have been.

Well another early morning, temp was 56* when I tee’d off at 7:00 this morning.  This is the first of 3 rounds this weekend so the recap will be brief.  It was also the first round with the new sticks.  Yesterday at the range I tried something and seemed to work, I was hoping to get a good warm up in but whoever had the opening shift this morning didn’t show up so it was right to the tee.

 

Front 9:

The first four holes were a little up and down, then my nemesis hole bit me again.  Staring right into the sun, I couldn’t even come close to seeing my drive, contact wasn’t great so that was a lost ball and a snowman (8).  The next 5 holes I played bogey golf, which I’m fine with at this point.  Had a few good recovery shots.  On the par 3 8th I had a 3 putt.  I should have hit an 8i, but took more club, put it on the green in the wrong spot.  In total I had 16 putts.

 

Back 9:

I was hoping my bogey golf would continue.  On the 10th, my drive stayed in the FW by about an inch, approach wasn’t great, came up short of the green.  I left my self about 30 yards to the hole, hit a 58* wedge and made the chip.  Birdie!  First of the comeback.  Rest was bogey golf until 16 & 17, where I made par.  On 14 & 18, I 3 putted both, I just left myself In absolutely the wrong spot.  Overall had 16 putts.  So today was another 6 shot improvement than my last round.
