Piretti Putters - No Upcharge Custom Options / Check them out!

I have known about Piretti putters for a long time now and have been looking for a wide blade style putter. I checked them out this morning and noticed that you have the option to have no sight line / dot / top line or standard flange line at no additional charge. I ended up ordering a Cottonwood II with top line and there was a 20% off promo code and free shipping which brought the total to $360 shipped.

I have heard a lot of people moan and groan about how they wish their favorite putter maker offered top lines, dots, no lines etc. Hard to beat that for a 100% milled putter with custom sight line options, with custom length, lie and grip options.

Good luck with the Cottonwood. While its a nice shape, seems the cavity is a hair on the thinner side and sweet spot hits tend to make a light ping sound.. hopefully its what you like...

Hmmm not sure I will like that. I had a carbon Bettinardi BB8W that I got rid of for exactly what you are describing. Hope that’s not the case with this one.

Never played the Cottonwood but I had a GOAT for a while and it was one of the best feeling putters I’ve ever used.  Hope the cottonwood works out you.

I gotta ask why'd you sell it if it felt so good? Just found something that performed better?

It was a plumbers neck and I prefer a flow or slant neck.  Sold it to fund a Mack Made. Also sold  a Nordberg, SWAG, TP Mills and Lajosi as well.  I wasn’t gaming them and didn’t want them to go unused. Only rolling with 2 putters right now, A Bradley Widowmaker and the Mack Made. I know the Bradley’s are not everyone’s cup of tea but it feels really good and puts a great roll on the ball. Looking at getting another Mack Made project going.  Just need to send in the deposit.

Fair I get the whole Plumber Neck vs Slant/Flow neck difference myself.

Did you ever decide on a shape for your Mack Made?  I’m thinking of going with a mid mallet design to give me 3 different options.

I got the putter on Saturday. Pretty impressive with a 2 day delivery time. You are right, there is a slight "ping" sound that comes from the putter. Definitely not my ideal sound but it's not as loud as the carbon BB8W that I had. I couldn't handle that sound. I still think that a PLD 2D would be the perfect putter if I could find one with a top line.

Putters. Don't even consider the cavity thickness...just enjoy the putter!

The Mills was pretty sweet but it just wouldn’t sit square for me and I felt like I was fighting it all the time.  I know Bradley’s are an acquired taste but it sounds and feels just as good or better than any putter I’ve ever owned.  I just put another deposit down with Mack Made for another build.  Going for a Piretti Goat look but with a flow neck.  If Piretti offered the GOAT in a flow neck under 1k, I’d be all over it.  The smooth faced GOAT is an awesome putter.

I keep cheating on my Pirettis but I always come back. I played a Firenze most of the last two years, then decided during the summer that I “needed” a new mallet. Went through a Tour 2 Ball and two fang styles (Scotty 5.5 and Betti 6.0) in short order. Then found a Savona at the end of the season and it was love at first sight.
My “fellow competitors” hate how much better my putting became. 😂

The PLD's feel so good.  I've been trying to find something to replace mine (not sure why lol) and nothing comes close to the feel/performance.

I have a PLD Anser and Tyne and they feel incredible. Will definitely jump on a PLD 2D once one hits the market. I missed out on one couple of months ago with a top sight line which is my preference.
