Ping Tour 2.0 Black & Chrome

Curious if anyone has put the Tour 2.0 Black (or chrome) up against the Aldila Rogue White 70, which was a previous offering with the 425 series.

Currently playing the Rogue in a 70-X but am considering replacing it with a Ping Tour 2.0 after reading this forum.

love the Rogue but I feel like the Tour shafts may be an upgrade if they’re a little less stout, a touch lighter, while maintaining the stability.

I have a ~113 SS and it’s a bit of an aggressive “hockey player” style swing.

I got fitted at a demo fit day for the 430 Max 10K 9* with Chrome 2.0 65S but never got to try the Black, although I did try a demo club elsewhere but they only had the 10.5 head and the Tour Black in S flex. A week later got fit for a TM QI10 Max 9* @8.25* with the Tensei Black and liked the feel and dispersion of it but the spin was a few hundred higher than the fitter was after and I didn't like the feel of the LS version, plus the dispersion wasn't as good for the extra 3 yds I got over their Max. I'm going to go back to Ping and see if I can try the Black Tour 2.0 before I make my final choice. 100mph SS and was seeing 146-150 ball speeds. Both the the 10K offerings performed well for me but I liked the Ping 3W and hybrid from Ping so thinking I'll keep the family together, lol

I have the tour black 2.0 extra stiff at 75G and i found it a bit to heavy for my swing. If anyone is interested in it, let me know 🙂

Went back to Ping and tried the Chrome and Black back to back. Prefer the black

They both still serve their purpose. Want a little stronger, lower launch, lower spin, grab the Black. Want a little softer, higher launch, higher spin, grab the Chrome. Neither is extreme in either direction IMO, and both are nice shafts.
