Do you lose some balls more than others?

I realize there are many factors contributing to losing balls during a round.  But do you find that some balls just seem to stay in your bag longer?  I found that with both Snell MTB-X and Titleist Pro V-1 that I am more likely to get multiple rounds from a single ball.  Or maybe I’m just a better golfer now. 😂😂😂

The probability of losing a ball is proportional to its price. The higher priced balls get lost easily but it’s near impossible to lose that Noodle/ Nitro/ Rock Flite/ Pinnacle someone gifted to you 5 years ago!

I have lost maybe 1 Maxfli tour in the last 4-5 rounds that I've played.  I have duck hooked drives that have hit trees and come back into play, sliced balls into woods that somehow get found.  Probably have at least 3-4 lost ball worthy swings/moments per round and yet they magically survive.  Meanwhile, if I dare play with a ProV1x I will lose it within 3-4 holes.

I only tend to lose the ones I hit.. the few I keep in my bag are always safe

Pretty much any time I open a new sleeve of balls, the first swing with the first ball is going to get lost.  Woods/water/two streets over ... whatever.

And the likelihood of losing an expensive one increases exponentially if said ball was a gift. I do tend to be able to hold onto cheaper ones a little better, granted it helps that I really only play cheap balls, but I had a friend gift me some personalized pro v1x's and I lose those pretty quickly.

I played Titleist for many years, and lost them, then switched to TP5, lost those too, tried Bridgestone, lost those too, Back to Titleist lost those , Now on Callaway , seem to be losing those too….

Didn't keep stats, but it’s pretty clear I can lose golf balls…

Someone gave me the red vice pro balls last summer. Lost them within 2 holes as I am partially red/green colour blind.

 

Would have the same issue with the camo balls or the black ones.

Yes, the ones that I buy I lose. The ones I find are impossible to lose.
