Right on the border of bait and switch tactics by Callaway. Late June to Mid-September was a lengthy wait enough and should have had any production delay issues factored in. Now potentially December is absurd. The rushed and botched Rahm release with incorrect inserts and quality control issues and now this nonsense is not a good look.

Mine hasn't changed. Still hoping they're not real since the only dates I've heard of are the next two weeks or December.

Has it already been two weeks since Friday? 

 

Anyone buying anything pre-release is bound to wait longer than anticipated these days. With Amazon spoiling most consumers with "speed", there are still supply chain issues that most people cannot grasp in other retail environments.  Look at the recent DND threads for other examples.  For another perspective, early adopters of the new Cadillac EV are waiting what, 18 months or more?

 

Can't blame them for (selling) striking while the iron is hot, and there was a huge Social Media presence asking for the Jailbird.  The powers that be saw dollar signs, and many golfers were happy to pay up knowing there was a wait from day 1.

 

These topics have been discussed in the past 19 pages, and this possibility is not new or shocking.  They likely oversold, and are planning batch production to get these out.

I just called Callaway, as my order status changed to December today.  Callaway rep said they will be shipping mid September and to disregard that date for now.

that’s basically what they told me as well. They said first batch is shipping next week and they aren’t aware of December-anything

I spoke to callaway today. Rep knew nothing of these being pushed back to december and gave me a ship date of 9/19. Hopefully this applies to all, retail and individual orders.

Would be nice if they simply released this as a follow-up for the 23' Versas for same price considering they already have the WH insert. Like how they added a few new models to the White Hot OG and Trihot5k lines a few months after the initial release. But I bet they turn this into a limited release and charge $400.

I canceled my original order, but if they released one with the White Hot insert I’d pick one up.   That is the only insert in any putter I’ve ever liked.

Companies usually have separate divisions within an organization.  For example: Marketing, Sales, Production, Shipping and Receiving, Customer Service, IT, etc.

 

Unless it is a one person organization, you are going to have departments working on different and sometimes separate projects.

 

Yet some are likely to complain daily until they are all delivered, right?  What month are we in today?

Understand that, but they need to get their divisions in order. Not trying to complain, but surely they should be able to give an estimate as it should be less than 2 weeks out, yet many members are reporting December delivery. When I ordered mine , it said Sept ship. Quite a far cry from December

My order shows an estimated ship date between 9/13 and 9/19. Excited to see if it works for me and if it will stay for next season

I ordered mine within the hour but customized it 2 flat.  My ship date says 12/11-12/15.  I figured the custom orders would be a little longer but not 3 months.  Hopefully just have the wrong date posted.
