Rearranging bag for push carts

I have a Titleist lightweight cart bag with 14 way top. I ride about 1/2 the time and use push cart the other times. If I organize the usual way for riding carts with driver and woods on top, that puts them on the bottom and wedges on top when using a push cart. Too much of a pain to reorganize each time. How do you guys do it?

Buy a 2nd set of clubs and a 2nd bag.

Yeah. What I do too. Just a minor annoyance that aggravates my OCD. Supposedly a bad idea as iron heads could hit the graphite wood shafts, but I con't really see this happening.

I am mostly a push cart user, and, a 14 way stand bag. Most of my taller clubs are on top, or, in the middle, the shorter clubs sort of wrap around

And, I, also, don't like the idea of my shorter clubs hitting any of my longer clubs graphite shafts, which, I think is more of a problem when riding, than, using a push cart. You could, also, try woode style with the longer clubs on the side.

Interesting. Would like to see a pic if possible. Your bag doesn't have a dedicated putter slot?

I use the Callaway Org7 (they make an Org14 too).  It's designed to work in both a cart and push/electric cart.  When mounted on either cart the woods are, near the back of the bag on a riding cart and the bottom of the bag when mounted on a push/e cart.  When mounted on either all pockets and the carry strap are facing the user.  The carry strap slips into a pocket when on a cart to keep it out of the way.   I use longer head covers on all woods and hybrids to keep the shafts and heads from making noise as well as not getting bet up.  I walk using a follow cart so the bag works great.  My next bag may be the Ogio Woode as it's a 14 way and no need to rearrange when changing to a riding cart if I ever do.   Most any bag with a "flatter" top will work in this respect.

Pretty similar to my bag. I'm just not happy with longer clubs on the bottom when using a push cart, even with headcovers, but I guess there's no other practical option

My bag is an Under Armour 14 way stand bag. My head covers are long enough to prevent any banging from the shorter clubs.

Thanks for posting the pics. Interesting but doesn't look like it would work too well on a riding cart.

I have a Titleist 14, and load it like a traditional 4 way bag for both walking and riding.

Just lay the bag on it's back in the pushcart with the legs extended.

So you have the long clubs in front on a riding cart? I may go back to that way too

I have Titleist 14 Hybrid bag and do the Ogio woode style with the woods down one side—works ok to carry, push, and ride. 
 

Bellken, I’m curious what cart you’re using bc I haven’t found one that I like with my Titleist Hybrid bag.

Bellken, I’m curious what cart you’re using bc I haven’t found one that I like with my Titleist Hybrid bag. 

I am using a Clicgear 3.5+. My UA 14 way stand bag works ok. The foot of the stand straddles the bottom bracket, and, limits the bag rotation. I did try woode style, but, it seemed like the irons in the middle were obstructed.

My bags probably 3 years old so I can't speak to the new ones.  Ample storage in mine.

Yup, my friend's older bag has a pretty decent size apparel pocket. Looked at new one in the pro shop and don't think it would fit much more than a vest and a hat!

Mine has an additional zipper in back which unzips to enlarge the apparel pocket.

So this is a real problem for me.  Push cart 80% of the time, ride the other.  LOVE my Pioneer but on the push cart it's a bit of a mess and i end up moving at least the driver to the front row behind the putter well.  Putter always has cover so not worried about damage on the driver shaft.  I'm guessing that's about as good as it's gonna get.  

 

I did seriously consider a second bag with a second set of irons.  I'd just move the woods/putter back and forth.  

 

Are the 14 way tops worse for push carts than 4 or 5 way?

The traditional way to arrange a bag does NOT work if you are only walking. People kept laughing at me for putting my drivers in the back of the bag, and the irons and putter in the front, but the moment you put your bag on a push cart the woods completely cover up the irons and you have to keep shoving them aside and looking for the iron or wedge that you need

With a 14 way bag, put the driver and woods down the left side top to bottom and then the irons on the right side and it works for both setups. For example:

 

Putter/4/5

Driver/6/7/8

3Wood/9/P/G

Hybrid/SW/LW

I had an Izzo Element years ago that was the best push cart bag ever. It was like a reverse Ohio Woode set up with the long clubs on the right and the shorter clubs the left. I still arrange my clubs that way. Still not ideal when on a riding cart but not too much of a hassel. I used to email Izzy every year about bringing the top back to no avail much like asking Golfworks to bring out a 7w head in the KE4 line (they bring out the Hyway instead).

 Would you be able to post a picture of how you've gotten it to fit (if you still have that combo). I can't get my Hybrid 14 bag to fit at all in my Nitron without it twisting around while using.

I thought the same.   Was considering a Volt, which is similar to the Nitron from what I gather and when I've tried this combo in the store it was underwhelming.
