Champions Choice 2023 (*** MERGED ***)

Just rolled mine at my local golf club, I got the Newport+.  It feels like my Studio Style.  I do like the "+" ness, but I cannot quantify how it performs on the course yet.  

Will change grip and see about taking it on the course as soon as possible.

Just received notice from PGA Tour Superstore that my Newport+ has shipped!

Just picked up my LH 2.5 at my local shop.  Titleist QC is lacking...  The shop was told they were getting 33" (my preference) but what was received was a 34" in a bag with a 33" sticker... (Actual putter is labeled 34").

 

Also, it looks like they're following the weighting of the Super Select line (10/15/20) even though Scotty's page for the CC has the weights at 30/35/40...   My 34" came with the 15s.  Oh well...  Given the limited nature of these, it's not like you can simply return for a different one...

I’m sure if there’s something wrong with the specs and you go back to your shop, they should be able to send it back to Titleist to correct.
 

Don’t just accept misconfigured/poorly built product regardless if it’s a limited release. I myself would rather get a refund

Interesting on the weights… the non .5 models have the 10/15/20 listed. Most likely a typo held over from the non plus models?

Possibly.  The Scotty specs have the heavier weights, but the pic has a 15 weight...  Talked to my shop and was told to call their custom order dept tomorrow, who should be able to confirm with Titleist...

Got my Newport 2.5 plus Wednesday and it was 34 in and had 15 g weights fwiw

Look like I “won” the draw at Golf Galaxy (online but you had to use their app). I wonder how high demand was or if I got lucky by wanting a less popular spec (1.5+ @33 in).

Same here. I opted for the 1.5 because the 2+ is just too square for my liking. Congrats!
