I can’t compare to BB or CC but my TEI3 was clicky in noise but soft in feel. The TEI3 insert is so unique and not comparable. I do thing straight milled are softer overall and more muted sound, but I can’t say the TEI3 was form at all. Was hoping to get a CC but these models were not worth it. Plus I’m not a flipper just wanted one to game.

I agree they're not his best limited release, but would surprised if that were the case.  I see what you're saying though, esp since there seem to be quite a few released.  Who knows, lol the golf market has been so high since COVID, things are bound to drop.

And this one was a minimum $100 more than the last CC (at MSRP of 699).  Then many retailers marked them up an extra 100.  I picked up one from Budget Golf for 799.  I'm pretty sure the one I bought that might be true, but true MSRP I wouldn't think so.

Does anyone know the estimate ship times on these? I placed an order through a Titleist Premier Fitter and said it would come directly from Titleist. Wondering how long it would take.

I already got shipping notice on the order I put into Budget Golf today

I think TGW and PGASS who did pre orders also got shipping notices today

That would be the Futura. 😁 I seriously doubt these will be under retail.

You might be right.  Seems like a large production number + less than appealing design though.  Plus these models never actually won a major.

Who cares if it didn’t win a major. These models just came this season. They were going to have these plus models badged up with champions choice regardless. 
 

If it wasn’t for one person being brooksie there still wouldn’t have been any major champion in recent that they could have branded this moniker too. 
 

you can dislike them all you want but being in an upheaval about how these shouldn’t be released cause it didn’t win a major in its first year of release is a bit irrational.

It’s called champions choice.  That’s what you call a major winning putter.  These have zero majors.

It is kinda weird that there isn't a "champion" associated with this line, but really what were the options.  I guess he could have done another Brooksie release, or a kinda sorta Cam Smith putter, but they wanted to get the + models out there

The 5.5 hasn’t won a major and was included in the last CC release.  These plus models are closer to major winning shapes than the 5.5.

How about a putter with no cherry bombs, clean styling, Titleist only branding with no references to Cameron.  Or is that too much to ask?

Used my NP2+ CC for practice last night and this morning and I really dig it.  Wasn’t sure if I’d like the setup but its very solid.  Really enjoy the feel and the face having a very shallow milling.  Dont like deep mill putters.

Just FYI, if anybody is the Inland Empire........ PGASS Palm Desert has a few champions choice in stock.  I picked up mine this morning.  I think they have about 6 out of 8 left still.

Titleist pays Cameron a lot of money so what you’re asking for is extremely unlikely. Clearly you don’t like those things so you could go back to this. Clean styling might be questionable, but it is Titleist only branding with no references to Cameron. 😁 there are some other models too and they are a fraction of the price as a Cameron.

Got my Newport+ today.  Compared it to my Newport Champions Choice from the first run.  Noticed the milling on the + seems a little bit shallower than the Newport but still has a very similar feel/sound.  I like the older headcover design better as it has "Button Back" on it versus the "American Classic" on the new one.  I would have liked a bit of a different design and paintfill choices but hard to get any teryllium putter for $700.

That’s actually cleaner than a lot of the recent OTR releases 😉

Grabbed one from my local shop and really enjoy it. Ive always been a little indifferent to NP2's because they always just seemed narrow down by the ball looking at for whatever reason and this fits the bill very nicely.

 

Always wanted the OG Buttonback just because I thought they looked awesome when they released in like 08  and was happy to get this at retail.

One of the bigger misses in my opinion. I thought I would like the larger head shape. But they just seem strange.
