best of the best carry stand bag with full length dividers

I carry 99 percent of the time. Love it----much cheaper for me and get decent exercise. Hate club tangle with my mizuno bag at the moment and my ping hoofer before it. I do use winn grips that are a big larger..... what would be a good recommendation to check out?   Ghost golf, vessel, anything- i am willing to pay for good quality plus actually enjoying the carry bag as i traverse different terrains

As in, you’re looking for 14 divider bags? If so, the Mizuno 14 divider is solid. The Titleist 14 divider lasts forever. Mine lasted 10 years before the handle ripped. The other OEM 14 divider bags don’t have stands. They tend to cater to the fat cart guy crowd. Sun Mountain makes a solid 14 divider that’s much lighter than the others.

I currently play the Hoofer and yes, club tangle sucks. I cut out the two middle sleeves and it has helped a lot. The club sleeves were grabbing the grips more than helping keep things organized.

 

Nike Collegiate bags are great carries. Not sure they offer them in full length dividers.

 

Titleist players bags are superb. I gamed the 5 until my dog got ahold of the shoulder straps and ball pocket zipper.

I like TMAG bags, the flextech line is good. Any smaller carry bag you're gonna get some grip entangling....but they are better than Pings

 

Anything is better than the Ping Hoofers, each one comes with a little gremlin at the bottom that ties your clubs together

Before I got the cart bag I was looking at the 2022 model of the Sun Mountain 4.5 LS 14-Way. I ended up buying the C-130. The materials on the C-130 are good and it's a solid bag. The 4.5 LS was a close 2nd.

I just wish they kept the 2022 color schemes in their 2023 bags.

I always preferred a very light and minimal bag if I'm going to carry.  No umbrella or rain hood, and just enough of the essentials.  3 plastic tees, 4-6 balls, one divot repair tool, ball marker, range finder (no case), a couple gloves and use a 20 ounce plastic water bottle to refill along the course.  Not much more than that, everything else stays in the car other than phone/keys/wallet.  Sometimes only 10-12 clubs to focus more on shot making to keep things interesting.  So I always gravitated towards the bags under 4 pounds that wouldn't have a lot of pockets or the 14 way dividers to save weight and keep things simple.

 

As I got older though, getting a much bigger and sturdy bag with the 14 way divider just made more sense to me while using a push cart.  The bag itself is 3-4 pounds heavier, and I carry way more stuff in it.  Much more balls, entire bag of tees, 3-4 gloves including rain gloves, rubber tees for the range, sunblock, rangefinder with case, rain jacket and rain hood, and I'll carry a 40 ounce hydroflask and some snacks.  The bag performs much better with the club organization, and I always have what I need with me and then some without having to pack or unpack items.  Is it as much exercise as carrying a light bag, no, but pushing around a heavier cart/bag is still exercise and at least it's not fatiguing my shoulders during the last 4-5 holes.

 

If you're looking for better quality and functionality from your bag while you walk, I'd strongly consider going the push cart route.  I have never regret it.  It's the closest thing us amateurs will get to being like the pros walking a course with a full size staff bag and not having to actually carry it.

I just got the sun mountain 2.5 14 way and am loving it. The dividers are full length and seal to the bottom of the bag plus it has the external foot to kick the legs out so there is absolutely no tangle even with my midsize grips.

I want to like Sun Mountain bags but something about the external foot for the kickstand just doesn’t make sense to me, and makes the bag feel flimsy. I could be wrong though?

It's still not clear to me if the OP wants 14 way divider or just standard 3/4/5 that have full length dividers. 

 

If the later, I'd suggest the Titleist Players 5.  I had the 4 and it was a little small for larger grips but the 5 looks just about perfect. For even more room, you can step up to the Hybrid 5 but its heavier.

2020 Sun Mountain 2.5 14 way and 2022 Titlist Hybrid 14 stand bag are what I use to carry.

 

2020 Sun Mountain 4.5LS 14-W is an excellent bag based upon my son.
