Back to swinging after a bit of a break, things to work on?

Most recent pieces of instruction i've worked on is less of an inside takeaway, not overturning hips (extending trail leg too much), don't drop trail elbow behind and get narrow on downswing, recenter earlier, and get lead shoulder off chin. And I suppose I could do with an earlier elbow bend. Not sure if there's anything beyond these things to focus on though, or if there's anything wrong with set-up etc.

Can hit any kind of bad shot, main issue on good shots is too much dynamic loft.

You have any path and ftp numbers? Good motion.

A little sloppy at the top that might get you into the occasional over draw or pull, depending on your shot shape. Butt comes off the tushline in the downswing a bit. A little more trail side bend through impact could help that.

I think you keep your shoulders closed for too long. Around p5-p6 that lead shoulder should start working up and away from the target more.

But I'll be glad to be corrected by a few on here more knowledgeable with those intricacies.

You mean late into lead side? Not sure what late into trail side means.

I am keeping my back to the target artificially long (for me), so could see it causing the shoulders not turning quite right.

Your right hand grip being on the weak side prevents the right arm from folding. DTL, look at how high your right arm is compared to the left. If you turn both hands to the right you can let the club load. You don't get a full wrist hinge.

See what you mean, so easy to forget about grip

I looked back at the face on and I'm not so sure you're late to your lead side (what I meant). I actually changed my post. I think a bit more trail side bend in the downswing is needed.

Go to the top, bring the arms down and press the chest down toward the ground at the same time. Do that until p5 and then pull that lead shoulder up and back.

Do the first move slowly and then the 2nd move quickly.

Agreed with @tthomasgolfer605 re: the weirdness going on with the right hand/arm:

You're locking that right hand into full extension really early a la Viktor Hovland, but then you're resisting all radial deviation up to the top:

Which creates this issue here where there is basically no "load" in either wrist which is going to create both speed and face control problems in the downswing.

This is similar to the back and forth going on in this thread and i'd recommend the same Padraig drill for wrist action to get the feeling of using them properly.

You'll see a big improvement when you soften up your right arm, if you were throwing a ball from center field to home plate you wouldn't throw it stiff armed.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
