Firm Feel & Low Spin Tour Ball

Reading the specs of all the new ball releases and they all seem to offer the same two models - low spin/soft and high spin/firm. Does anyone offer a low spin/firm option? Does anyone (other than me) want that? Just curious what others thoughts are on this.
 

My dream ball would be a firm feeling AVX - Left Dot was close. Chrome Soft X LS is the current gamer.

Left Dash, spins a touch more than AVX but firmer than ProV1X.

I'll second left dash.  It's Top Flite firm but launches higher with low spin.  I like to put them in play during winter months where carry is imperative.

Another vote for Left Dash. Thing just flat out performs and meets your criteria perfectly!

Hope Titleist is listening to the left dash customer support? I would be P.O. if they discontinued that ball without an improved version or equivalent replacement. Not the best example, Titleist doing AVX - Tour Speed combo.

Yes, but I think it flies just a smidge lower.  That sucker is low spin tho!

Thanks all for the recommendations. I’ll definitely try the left dash. I have shied away from it in the past because I hit the ball insanely high so that was always the appeal of a firm AVX. 

 

But I was mainly curious if there were other players that liked the firm feel/low spin and low trajectory combo out there. The soft/low combo works OK for me, I’d just prefer a firmer feel off the club face.

I’m also a very high peak height player (hello flippy impact!) but given it’s very much technically self-inflicted I’ve not seen too much difference in height across a range of balls I’ve trialled, AVX included. I like the firm ball feedback on the clubface, and the Dash is an absolute bomber with (in my experience) surprisingly adequate short game spin/response. It’s a unicorn for me. Good luck giving it a go!

firm feeling avx is what I consider the maxfli tour s to be.

There's good news for you then, they are opening up production and distribution on left dash for 2024, so you'll see it on shelves in most places soon. The move of AVX to the Tour Speed production line is allowing them to do it since AVX was sharing production time/space with ProV1 previously.

I'm a very high ball hitter as well and don't see issues with the Left Dash, the lower spin seems to keep the ball on a more aggressive trajectory vs potentially ballooning a bit which some higher spin balls can do and I'm sure you've seen it too. 

 

But it's one of those things that you need to test out.

This is my exact experience with the Left Dash. My ball flight is lower with the Left Dash than with the Pro V1X off the driver. Much better trajectory and it rarely balloons on me like the Pro V1X did.
