Heck of a career indeed, but..only 2 majors. Kinda surprising, kinda not.

Yeah, a bit of a head scratcher, but then again she was never the longest off the tee, and struggled with accuracy, so she was rarely in contention at the USWOs. Thought she might have snagged one or two more Evians, and possibly a KPMG.

Even though Mission Hills played long, there were plenty of moderate length hitters who hoisted the trophy.

Funny thing is that plenty of the top names haven't dominated in the majors. Seems like the tour ran through a lengthy period where lesser ranked players were grabbing them, and many of them faded back into the background. Pernilla? Patty? Mirim? Yuka? Sophia? Hannah? Hinako?

One good week on the front line, doesn't mean you are meant to stay there.  That's why it irritates me when a virtual no namer wins a major and dissappears. At least Hannah won twice after her major.

You forgot A Lim and Lee6 for the list.

Other than The Masters, all the other majors on both tours are won by folks that get lucky and have a good week.  ANGC is a beast and other than Evian is the only major played in the same location every year.  The Dinah excluded because that course isn't hard by any stretch of the imagination.  I never really understood why it was a major anyway.

ANGC, from the tournament tees, required a special player to win.  That's why several of the top players "mastered" it year after year and others could never break through for the win.

Mirim was more of a lifetime accomplishment at that point in her career, truly one of the best comeback rounds too with all those hole outs off the green - but she is the Stewart Cink of majors winners as she stole one from either Nelly or Brooke which will begrudge most fans 😂

Somehow I feel compelled to note that Yuka was 18th on the CME last year with eight top 10's...so I wouldn't use "disappeared" as such.   She seems to fly under the radar though, certainly here, with no wins and not frequently in contention late Sunday, perhaps underachieving in that sense.

But yeah if people are claiming that this is a bit of a pivotal "how do we view her" or "what's her likely trajectory going forward" year for Nelly, you could certainly make that case for Patty, Hinako and Yuka (all of whom I find easy to cheer for).

Gaby is getting a lot of coverage today , being near the top of the leadboard early on helps 😎

They also had a nice feature about her success on the Epson Tour last year

Maxfli is owned by Dick’s?  No wonder why they raised prices last year!

Dick’s and Golf Galaxy are all about raising prices

I've found, and played, a couple of the new MaxFli's. Soft, and not bad balls. They're no Pro V1s, but probably on par with the Kirklands and Vice offerings.

Is Nelly playing the same course as everyone else ? 👀

Putter certainly seems to be cooperating. 30 putts with 17 greens hit isn't too shabby.
