T150 is smaller. T200 and 245 are more similar in size.  I do think T150 and 245 feel similar.

Hit both and 100% agree with what is said here. 245 much more forgiving too.

I third that comment. Or is more appropriate to say I tertiary that comment? Idk

MP245 definitely hotter than the T150. I think the MP245 feels better than the T150 but feel is subjective.

As mentioned above the T200 is probably the better comparison. I haven’t hit the two side by side so I can’t comment on the dimensions or distance but the MP245 feels better for sure. T150 and T200 are both excellent clubs but there’s something special about the MP245.

To echo what everyone else has said, T150 is smaller and with less offset. Both look good, but T150 is near ideal for my eye. Numbers wise for me, 245 launched half a degree higher, had around 2 mph faster ball speed, spun ~300-400 rpm less, and carried 6 yards further than T150. Both felt really good. If you're looking for a bit more distance and forgiveness, 245 is a great option.

For me, they were very similar numbers. Like others have said, the T150 has a thinner topline and looks better to my eye. That's not to say the 245 is big, it's just bigger than the T150 and you definitely notice the difference hitting them back to back. For me, the T150 feels slightly better. The 245 is definitely more forgiving, but it's not massive. Numbers below from my fitting - as you can see the carry distance was identical, but dispersion was slightly tighter with the 245 and the spin definitely drops but it goes higher so maybe a wash. I honestly think you cannot go wrong with either - I ordered both in true WRXer fashion.

6 Irons w/DG 120

T150:

Avg. club speed: 87.6

Avg. Carry: 179.4

Avg. ball speed: 121

Avg. spin: 4750

245:

Avg. club speed: 86.6

Avg. Carry: 179.4

Avg. ball speed: 121

Avg. spin: 4495

I agree the differences are not massive and they’re both excellent options. I’m in T100 now and was going to order T150 for the top of the bag to give me a bit more ball speed. The I went to a Mizuno fitting.  🤦‍♂️

Did recent fitting at club champion.   Had original T100s

Did shafts first as I was between keeping steel (DG 120 Tour Issue S400) or going graphite.   Tried out axiom, KBS and Accra TZi but best for me was Dart V Concept.

Then hit T150.  Liked it a lot.   Great look at address and like the thinner top line.  I’ve never had Mizunos but hit the 245’s, 243’s but wasn’t hitting both well at first (all me).   Then 770 (didn’t like feel).  Came back again to Mizuno 245 and was hitting great shots one after another and not only some nice distance but more important my dispersion was by far the best.   6 iron with my 87 or so club head was over 120 ball speed and 181 carry but the groupings were so close which is what i cared about more.

they are a little thicker top line but not chunky.  At address frames the ball nice.  Clubs looks great and i was so impressed with the performance i went with Mizuno 245’s.   I did like the T150’s though as well.  Both feel good but 245’s more foregiving for me on top of a little more ball speed and penetrating flight

I am strangely annoyed at Mizuno for the naming of this MP series. No clue but typing or saying MP 245 doesn’t roll off the tongue the way T 100 does. Just felt like i needed to put that out into the universe, apologies….carry on

Oh my... I own the T150s --easily my favorite irons of all time. I have no problem hitting them, and my numbers are crazy good. However, it's been a year and I want something different and/or a backup set. Ideally, as I won't be trading my T150s, I want something sufficiently different (perhaps longer) to justify having a second set. What has your experience been? Seeing your post, I wonder if I shouldn't save the doe.

T150 is a better comparison for Pro 243, not 245.

245 is more like P790 and T200

So is the T150 splitting the difference between the 243 and 245?

To me, the old 225 (which I have, in a blended set) was far too strong to be paired with the 243 or MMC (previous 223) directly. I'd go from 181 carry on the 7-iron 223 to 207 carry 6-iron on the 225. I can see the argument for a more forgiving 6/5/4 but the 225 was a good number letter stronger than the 223, with not enough spin to hold greens. On our toughest par 3, a 212 yard hole with rock-hard 12+ winter greens, I could get a 223 to stop within 7 or 8 feet. The 225 would just bounce and keep going.

Not that I need new irons (I'm still playing my MMC MP20s, which actually do stop in the event I can make a good swing and put my 5-iron on the green), but I like the idea of a T100/150 blended set.

I went from 223's to 245's and bent them 1° weak. I'm seeing almost no difference on the course or on my simulator.

I have the T200s in the long irons and T150s in the mid to low irons. I also have a set of 245s that I’ve been testing. To my eye, the T150s a slightly smaller than the 245s and the T200s are slightly bigger than the 245s, albeit in the long irons. Not sure if that’s factual, that’s just how they look down by the ball.

Honestly if you love the 150s I would stick there. I think the 245 is a better comparison to the T200/P790 than the 150. The 150 just looks better, for me it's better through the turf, and performs better for me as well.
