If you’ve always instinctually compensated for not starting your putt on the line and you’re given the correct line, you’re not going to suddenly start rolling it straight. Straight putters that are bad at reading have the most to win with AimPoint IMO.

Has anyone done a study that shows how many balls roll offline because Aimpoint golfers are trampling all over the green around the cup?

 

You get a certain amount of traffic picking the ball out of the hole, but twice as much (at least) when golfers stand next to the hole and straddle the line, moving their weight from side to side to judge slope.

 

And it looks dumb as well, so there's that...

I’ve played a few TPC courses and have seen many others. Is it just me, or is this one just not as pristine looking as most of the others? I’m gonna stay just short of saying some areas look “local muni’ish’ as far as condition. But…

Plus many of the golfers using aimpoint walk all over your line without consideration.  It needs to go.
