Limit length—pass a rule that states that your putter cannot be the longest club in your bag, or that a putter’s total length cannot exceed 40”. 
 

There are already loads of other rules like this (for example, putter shafts must be straight above 5” from the ground, no non-cylindrical grips on clubs other than putter, driver can’t exceed 46”, etc.) so I don’t think it would be all that unusual or unprecedented of a rule.

You know what I would love to see? Rory working with Dan Grieve. His length means he has SO MANY partial wedges and short shots, and I feel like he could improve so much compared to some of the other short game wizards like Spieth around the greens.

Had to watch some ANWA first but now tuned in to this. Some great groups out there. Rooting for Akshay but also hoping to see Rory get some positive thoughts in his head for next week.

-15 under would give him a 5 stroke lead if todd or denny were to get a little better under par however i suspect they've peaked.
