Per the PGA Tour website Fleetwood's caddy is ill. His caddy this week is a TM employee. Article is on their front page

Two of my favorites dominating the leaderboard after 36 holes. The great Brendon Todd AKA "The Toddfather" and the leader Akshay Bhatia. They might not hold on for the win but I'll be rooting for them.

Look, I'm no rules expert.  It just seems like a joke for young guys.  Perhaps a rule that hands must be touching or something like that.  The point is I think there should be some feel / athleticism required for young guys.  Senior tour - have at it.

Smylie's shtick is to ham it up over player's recent highlights and then to hit them on any current perceived issues or weakness and any mishits from recent play, then have some fun moments with shots of players earlier in their career or as junior golfers. 

 

Was that way with Akshay and then Rory. Didn't see any puckering up. Everyone who comes up there seems to have a lot more fun than they do in any of the other interviews they do while being a lot more of themselves than we'd otherwise see. Got the bonus of Rory discussing exactly what he worked on with Butch and the fix along with him being pretty candid about having not been able to 100% recapture his freewheeling iron swing he had at Congressional. 

 

If you're expecting Meet The Press or something I think you have the wrong sport & wrong broadcast crew.

You're pretty much spot on. Smylie's great at that Happy Hour interviewing. He gets a lot of info and have a fun time doing it. Very relaxed atmosphere.
