Taylormade P770 Aged Copper

I saw this and getting nervous lol has anyone received any updates on their custom order?  I ordered mine almost immediately when they were available with a ship date of 4/24 but still says the order is in the queue step 1 of 6.

2. they look less “copper” than i thought they would, but maybe this will finish to a nice patina over time.

 

i also ordered them without grips which is how they came so that was nice.

 

i literally picked up the box as i was headed out the door to London so they’ll be sitting in my garage for the next 10 days before i can grip one and try to hit it, but snapped a few quick pics (below) of the 7 iron before i headed out! (you can bet the wife appreciated that 🤣)

They look beautiful. I think is a big plus that it is more of a dark copper finish vs others I have seen that look more orange. These 770s have more of a deep brushed look that is more appealing to me.

echo'ing this - I ordered right before I posted this thread and they showed up today.

 

In all fairness Im in Santa Monica, so fairly close to where they ship from in Carlsbad

i ordered mine last friday (4/19) so sounds like you beat me!

 

maybe me not having grips attached helped the build/ship time?

Unless I looked at it wrong, seems the 790 is only available now. I was dragging my feet on the 770s. Looks like I missed out.

These are so freaking clean and love the classic taylormade circle logo. Brings me back to my burner bubble youth sets when i was learning the game from my dad. Enjoy to all those who got some!

Shipping notice received. My set should be here before the weekend. Friday will be 13 days from order date. Given the sales on these, I am pleasantly surprised. I am psyched to play these irons. I even switched to a 14-way divider hybrid bag that also will arrive this week.

Jealous lol I still am waiting on my order from 4/18. Called last week and was told the grip I ordered which was just a standard MCC was on backorder so changed it to no grip and now being told the iron heads are on backorder and my order is delayed 🙃

Looks really pretty. Almost pulled the trigger on ordering a set, but am afraid what it will look like after wear. To me it's almost too pretty to hit lol.

This is kind of what I am expecting. They’re going to wear but not going to look like black irons. There won’t be as much contrast between the finish and the wear spots.
