There are a lot of variables to consider but in general, I hit a full 56 for a front pin (high, lands soft, stops immediately) 3/4 knockdown 51 for a back pin (low, lands in middle and runs to the back). The courses I play tend to have a lot of slope to the greens that can really effect what the ball does once it hits so to get it close you really need to figure out a trajectory, spin, and landing area on the shorter approach shots.

I just wish the ball knew what shot I was trying to hit more often.

any club in my bag could be that yardage depending upon what im looking to do. these questions are stupid. i could bump and run almost any club pitch an 8 pitch a 9 pitch a pw and hit 3/4 54 and arnold palmer a 60... these questions are border line retarded

I wouldn't call these types of posts retarded, I just view them as posts that lack any real content.

And knockdown 52* to answer the OP's question

i just felt like you wanted to know what i hit. You made the question seem like it had a sense of urgency with multiple question marks. Soooo i just thought i would reply since you obviously needed it for some 7th grade science project on the flight of golf balls from 100 yards and what clubs can be used to hit them. I think its a long title so you should probably shorten it.

you have some serious talent, your driver has enough loft where its probably fairly easy to hit 100 yards as well.

I think you're supposed to kind of assume the op meant what you use most of the time there yates. I guess you just wanted to take the opportunity to show off how good you were by being able to use all those clubs.....yeaaa... anyways I guess i would usually use a 56, but I just got a 45* special P cleveland 588 and its starting to take over as the all round shortgame club, anybody use one of these thy're unreal.

If you are hitting a LW (60-62*) club 103 yards then you are swinging wayyyy too hard to a wedge, or taking loft of the club. That just is not really possible nor should you want to do that.

I used to hit a 56* 105 yards and the pro tore me up for swinging my wedge so hard.
