ya, about that...
i'm a 4.8, trending down. i play mizuno mp52's, which is a "dual muslce", but also a cavity...and the low irons are blades. so, in regard to your many questions, my one answer is "yes". hehehe...

MP37's...got them when I was 19 or 20 and a +1.8 handicap. since then, school has overtaken my life, funds and free time have been minimal, and I've played less than 5-7 times for the past 3 or 4 golf seasons here in Ohio. I still hold a 2ish handicap, but the blades aren't what they used to be for me.

the day I graduate and start my "big kid" job, and have the funds, I'll be picking up a set of Nike VR Pro Combo's. I still hit the 7-PW blades on the screws, but having barely played in recent years, something about looking down on the 3, 4, and sometimes 5 irons blades gets inside my head over the ball--I usually still hit them well, but I'd like a little more wiggle room.

I live in NE Ohio where the snow just melted and it will rain for 2 months

Index 4.7: I start the season with AP1's to reduce the turf interaction in
wet and often standing water conditions. Mid season when it dries out I will
game either my AP2's or MP-58's (both with Nippon ProS stiff shafts).

Game improvement Ping i15s

Blade player from age 9 - 38. Switched to GI irons 1 year ago. Very happy with my decision. Forgiveness is an amazing thing, and I don't notice any loss of feel.
