Golf Slacks

Whats your favorite brand?

Just wondering what everybody was wearing as far as Golf Slacks.

Do they make pants that are better for golfing in, than just your plain Docker khaki's?

I have Jos A Bank Ledbetter golf slacks and really like them. Anything that is a polyblend are in my opinion a lot better for golf than regular cotton docker type pants. However, I have a pair of Ben Hogan slacks that are cotton and tencel and they are very comfortable and have a great drape to them. Hope this helps!

The JL pants are nice, but pricey as hell.

 

For my money, the ClimaCool pants are where it's at. They retail at $65 and can usually be found for lower and they are NICE! I've got all the colors they offer and love them!

Haggar Cool18, from JCPenney. They are great and <$50 regular retail. Easy to care for, and comfortable.

+1 for the Adidas Climacool pants!

 

Super comfy, has stretch to it, and they are vented behind the knee/belt line, etc.

Couldn't be happier with mine.

they are not "golf" slacks per se, but I really like the Perry Ellis microfiber slacks for golfing in. Just light enough, breatheable, etc. very, very comfortable.

I have been using dockers golf pants and shorts. They wear great and on ebay can be found pretty cheap.

If I could afford to, I would only wear Tommy Bahamas. They're so nice, it doesn't even feel like your wearing pants. I own 3 pair and they get a lot of use...but they are expensive and you have to dry clean.

I've always worn and sworn by Tommy Bahama, but I recently bought 2 pair of Nike FitDRY and found them very comfortable and giving. Plus they are half the price of a pair of TBs.

IZOD makes good golf pants that are unexpensive, also used Nike and Adidas Clima Cool. Always check their factory outlet.

I generally where dress trousers, but I don't mind Greg Norman trousers in terms of comfort for golf pants. I'd also wear the Adidas All Tour trousers as long as they don't have the cut in the back of the knee...really don't like that :(

 

On a side note, was just looking at Stromberg trousers, has any body worn those and what did you think? They have some very nice styles and colours...

I've looked for Adidas ClimaCool for 2 years at stores -- the sizes are always 36-44.

 

When I was looking for a quiet plaid, Nike has Dri Fits that are great -- on sale at tgw now. Docker Tours are inexpensive at TGW -- at $30, I've worn them for a couple of years

+3 for Haggar cool18. You can get them sometimes at TJ maxx for $17! ALso Izod pants are nice as well. I can't bring myself to spending hundreds of dollars on clothes. That could be some new clubs lol! I get all my stuff at Stein Mart, Marshalls, Ross, and TJ maxx. And I still look good on the course.

Dammit Club Ho, I hate you and youre incredibly stylish golf attire!!  :)  I do like Hugo Boss, but I dont have any BOSS golf gear.  Lindberg is made for skinny guys and BOSS definitely makes some nice suits for athletically built individuals.

 

If you're gonna be a club-ho, might as well be the best dressed. :)  Oh and dont tell me that you wear FJ Alligator custom classics, I can only take so much.......   :)  lol

In fact I have some Footjoy Classic, but not the gator version though - but my favorite golf shoes by far at the moment is the Adidas Tour 360 limited - have a pending order on 4 pair (black/white, white/black, Black/orange and white/brown) :ok:

 

I'm not that skinny - 6' 4", 200 lbs (pounds) - but J Lindeberg fits me pretty well. I do work out a bit though, but I think people have too much respect or fear of wearing fit cloths. I agree it doesn't look good on fat guys or stout guys - but much more guys could wear J Lindeberg, than what most in here think.

 

That's the case in Scandinavia, Europe, where I'm from any ways..........
