Do you take your glove off to putt? [POLL]

I take it off unless its a full swing or really deep rough, for feel and it lets the glove and my hand dry befor the next tee shot. Sometimes i'll take it off after each shot if the pace of play is painfully slow. ;)

I always take my glove off in between shots, chips, pitches, greenside bunkers, and putting. Screws up my feel if I leave it on for those above shots. I bought the foot joy rain gloves this past winter and I must say that those things are amazing, sometimes I only wear one, but when I wear one on each hand I find it feels so weird, just have to get used to it I guess

I take my glove off whenever I use a putting stroke. I sometimes take my 7 iron to chip using a putting stroke. So I go through the same setup and routine as if I was using my putter.

It's just psychological with me. I haven't ever putted with a glove on so I don't. I think most of the older generation is more used to wearing gloves while putting.

I take it off to putt. I just like to take it off at times to air out my hand. A lot of the pros do it to putt, so that's when I do it.

I take my glove off to putt as well as any shot less than 50 yrds. I also take it off between most shots to avoid the glove tan and to let it air out

Im one who tends to overgrip on the driver/woods etc. So a glove helps me keep that soft, but i also read a quote by nicklaus at one point about putting, act like its made of glass, or whatever he said. Well i really took that to heart and so to maintain as much feel and as much of a connection with the putter as i can the glove has to come off. But then i end up needing the marker from the glove, gloves already in the pocket, lose the glove, grrrrrrrr. Should make a putter grip with a marker built in the top

It's all preference. Couples never wears one. Daly always wears it, even to putt. Of course, if you're going to putt while inebriated, it couldn't hurt to keep it on.

I can't putt with my glove on. It's almost physicaly impossible for me to do lol. It's such a different feel, and it throws my stroke at a wack.

Actually since im trying to dry it out when its not on my hand, I leave it hanging from my back pocket. I find If I wad it up in my pocket it never gets any drier in between shots.

 

I also try to emulate the pros by getting the ball in the cup in the least amount of stokes, is that showing off as well ?

Once the glove is on it stays on. I somtimes find myself driving home from the club when I realize it's still on.

For some reason I need to feel the grip on all of my clubs. but with the putter i need a glove. I have a Long putter and use the claw putting style. i think I need a right handed glove tho...

My hands sweat so bad that I have to take mine off after every shot! Leave it off while putting so it dries out. Hate putting with gloves, even when it's really cold out. Seems to take away all my feel.

Always take mine off to putt and sometimes for extra touch when chipping. Gives me more feel.

 

Then I started taking it off after every shot because I was almost always waiting on the group ahead of us to move....weekend slow play. Now it's become habbit. Seems to keep it from drying out from sweat too.

mine glove comes off when i'm 60 yards or less, i just like the feeling. i don't think i am gonna change having my glove off while putting either, i average in the high twenties per round, i even pulled off a round with 23 putts, only shot 69 though haha

I always take my glove off for chips and putts. Two reason; Feel and second, that way I don't have one white hand and one tan hand. :good:
